rn9013 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Just watched an interview with Kasper on sky and I can't help but feel if we had 11 players with his attitude we wouldn't be in this position. An absolute professional who I feel genuinely cares. Interestingly when asked about possible dressing room unrest he didn't exactly deny it. I'd love to know exactly what has gone on, because something obviously has. I really hope we can avoid relegation this year. Relegation this year would tarnish last year for me, even if we survive just for one more year, please don't let the fairytale end like this.
ImBlue Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 If we go down and he leaves, he will be able to with his head high.
lgfualol Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 He probably had a better defence in front of him when he was at Notts County. Should be captain for the remainder of the season.
rn9013 Posted 5 February 2017 Author Posted 5 February 2017 I would agree with your captaincy point. I'd give it him tomorrow morning.
Tielemans63 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Thought he was going to name and shame for a moment. Think it crossed his mind.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Strung more coherent words together in 5 mins than Morgan has in years.
Sampson Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Will their ever be an easier player of the season vote in the club's history than for Kasper this year? He's the only player you can say has had an decent season.

Everyone keeps going on about unrest as being Ranieri vs the squad, but listening to Kasper I wonder if instead there's a rift between the players themselves.

That's exactly what I was hearing too Doc.
Vacamion Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Wonder what he meant when he repeated his criticism of those "from the top to the bottom" of the club? Seemed to be hinting at there being more problems than just the players.
simpmeister Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 The only one with some balls. Should be captain, its painfully obvious. If only all the others had his passion and attitude.

J.Lisemore Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Would probably have been a good thing if he did actually name and shame.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Would like to have seen this, but turned off after the final whistle. Does anyone have a link I wonder? Cant disagree though. He comes across as more or less the only one who gives a shit. Him and Ndidi
blueharmie Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Something not right that's for sure. Neville and carragher talking sense after the game.
funkyrobot Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 If we get relegated and lose Kasper, we'll be left with Ronny Rob Zieler as 1st choice.....:(

rn9013 Posted 5 February 2017 Author Posted 5 February 2017 Judging by the positive replies, maybe making Kasper captain is something Claudio should seriously consider. At the end of the day I will support my football club through the good and the bad, and I accept that one day we will be relegated from the top division. However all I ask is that any player that pulls on a city top gives it their all and has some passion. Kasper is the only one that does in this side, he's the first and last one on the pitch applauding the fans after every game-without fail. He's the only one when we concede that rallies the troops. We have to change things, and I think this is one way to start.
simFox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 You know he was going to mention Vardy was to busy doing photo shoots for OK magazine. As they said on fanzone, interestingly, he didn't come out and say he supported the manager, or that he was behind him.
dylanlegend Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 He had the chance to defend Ranieri but seemed to skirt the questions about the manager... it pretty much confirmed things in my mind. Kasper is probably more a leader in the dressing room than Ranieri at the minute

Asks more questions than he answered by not supporting the manager when he had every opportunity.
