Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Interesting use of 'top to bottom' - or mainly use of the word 'top'. That can only mean the boss.

Everyone keeps going on about unrest as being Ranieri vs the squad, but listening to Kasper I wonder if instead there's a rift between the players themselves. All that fuss over Vardy and Mahrez ,last summer, certainly didn't strengthen the team spirit. And the fact, that those two, who are getting more money than their teammates, are not exactly in top-form this season, certainly doesn't help either. Add to that, that you had already at the very beginning of this season several frustrated players in the team - some because they didn't get new, improved contracts (Huth, Ulloa, Okazaki), others because they weren't allowed to leave (Schlupp, Mahrez, Ulloa) - and you have enough ingredients together to blew a team apart.

Kasper is probably more a leader in the dressing room than Ranieri at the minute Well he's not going to defend someone who's just given him a bollocking is he.
STUHILL Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Most professional player we have. I wish he had a better back 4 infront of him. Doesn't deserve all these cheap goals against him.
totbl Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Respect to Kasper for this, I wish he was our captain. I guess there's a leadership vacuum and he's stepped into it. Sick of Ranieri skirting around issues, I wonder how much he actually says of value behind the scenes. I used to think the media face of him was just that, but I can't actually imagine him having a real talk with anyone.

WoodyFox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Isn't it common knowledge that the majority of the players dislike Kasper? Not surprised he dropped them in it

I don't think he's able to keep up with the Prem League's changing pace. Last season and this season are two completely different monsters.
cruzFOX Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Kasper watching you in that interview my heart is bleeding for you. As a fan I am close to tears. we now need divine intervention if we are to finish this season with any respect, honor and dignity. if the gods are listening please have mercy on us!
JR99 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Kasper is in an impossible position... You can see he's desperate to play some actual football but the inability infront of him results in him having to go long. He must be so frustrated, and I have no doubt he makes sure all the players know it. Always alot of time for him, he should be captain
LFEFox23 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Love this from Kasper. Talked from the heart instead of ignoring the situation, Claudio is being too nice and loyal!
thegaffa Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 I thought he meant the manager, now I am thinking that it could mean the structure of the club for example the DOF/ data analysts/ recruitment/ sports science guys we have or haven't got. just a thought.
Chester Dontlie Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Very interesting this. You can say Kasper is holding back on telling whats going on behind the scenes Good lad, future Leicester captain. Hopefully he stays no matter how this season ends. I wish the rest of them lot had this kind of mindset
leicesterlad1989 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 He has the same passion and winning mentality as his old man. Sadly we don't have another ten players like him.

Yeah cause no one has ever came out and backed their manager after receiving a bollocking before. I'm surprised anyone actually ever speaks highly of Fergie

I think Claudio is just too passive. Was fine when they were winning, but now many players have grown tired of it. They are probably wanting a bollocking, just to know that the manager is there and right behind them. Don't forget these players had a number of seasons with Pearson shouting at them, so imagine going into the dressing room after another loss, and Claudio isn't really reacting much.. "Noo, We tried".. Claudio talks about fighting, but is he showing enough passion and fight in the dressing room or training? The players of course should be professional enough and be able to still do their jobs, but I am sure having such a passive manager is not helping right now, especially when there is such a flat atmosphere within the team. They need a fire starting under them!

Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Respect to the lad. Wish he'd done the collection speech when we won sports team of the year. I still cringe at Wes mumbling on the mike.

splinterdream Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 so who allowed Kasper to speak to the media? Did Claudio know?

SpinneyHillRanger Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Kasper should be the captain ahead of Morgan. And Morgan is making way too many mistakes and needs a rest to recharge himself. I do have doubts about Kasper though. I reckon his old man is leaking info about dressing room stuff.
