bigDfox33 Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Just an idea but seems they have forgotten how to play, I would sit them down all week and make them watch replays of last seasons games to see where they are going wrong
TheUltimateWinner Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 I think a compilation of every misplaced hoof from our back 4 would be more hard hitting
davieG Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Seems to me part of the problem is they can't forget last season even I'm getting sick of hearing about it, the video before the game the continual reference to it by pundits despite them saying the players have got to forget last season, if anything show them the Great Escape games
Monsell1976 Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Make them watch the shit the have served up, show the all the commentators slagging them off, show them what a laughing stock they have become. Then if they have any sort of professional pride, it will get them angry, and get a response. No more protecting their egos because they won the league, they need to learn they didn't become great players because of one season, that they became a great team because they worked hard, and played for each other.
Bayfox Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Won't making them watch last seasons video's just highlight how much work, you know who did.
lgfualol Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Please don't show them last season's games. It will just reinforce their hoof-balling approach to games because they'll think it works again.

foxy boxing Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 there more likely to respond to a girls gone wild dvd
stevelcfc Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 I'm not sure watching a dvd of what made them the self-righteous, overpaid and carefree twats they have become will help.
Jimothy Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Why should they get to enjoy last season's games? That was enjoyable. Make them watch this season's over and over
norwichfox Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Maker the fookers suffer like we have and watch this seasons games, 2 minutes of goal highlights and fruitless hours of short corners, p155 poor passing, wandering aimlessly around looking lost, and hoofball. I tried to watch some vids of last season last night after 1/2 hour I'd had enough, it just highlighted even more how utterly poor we have become.

foxinsocks Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 This wont work... they played automatically last season.... you cant just ask them to concentrate on being that way (i suspect this is the problem now)
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Just make the majority of them watch the rest of this season's games from the stands, that's what would help us.

They need to be watching their own individual performances from last season, not his. I can tell you for a fact that they were better then.
m4DD0gg Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 In the past the players were given Ipads with what to look for in the opposition, where mistakes were made in the previous matches and their personalised individual performances. A big song and dance was made about this on East midlands today as we have some partnership with Loughborough Uni sports science. Wonder if this is still done. Evidently not based on most performances.

We need to motivate them - not send them into a soporific stupor.
Ric Flair Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 Get that sports psychologist back, get them feeling good about themselves and invincible. Also make them realise what's at stake but with determination and adrenaline running through their systems.
yorkie1999 Posted 13 February 2017 Posted 13 February 2017 the main thing any modern footballer is motivated by is money, and that's the only place to hurt them. Reward them when they do well, but penalise them when they're poor.
