Wilson_6 Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 When do we think the next manager will be named? I'd actually like Shakespeare to get it.

StanSP Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Just now, Wilson_6 said: I mean like halftime unveiled. even so, I've never know that to happen anywhere with any club.
MikeyT Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Reckon by the end of next week. I think they must have had their eye on someone already.
HighPeakFox Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Why poll this? You might as well set up a sweepstake...

foxy boxing Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 sometime between now and the end of the season! but probably within the next couple of days!
VLC86 Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Mancini on the day of the game, it's a clear tactic. New manager in the stand watching a game, the players meet him at half time and it generates a result. If we lose? Blame Shakey and Stowell.
Finnaldo Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Reckon they're close to an appointment but are waiting for the dust to settle.
Ted Maul Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Just before the Liverpool game. The new man will be watching from the stands, and will pop his head round the dressing room door to inspire the team to the win.
lgfualol Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Depends on when the players want a new manager

Guest Bilo Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 It'll be done pretty quickly, don't believe for a second they haven't had their eye on someone. Announcing the replacement before Liverpool seems unlikely, but I expect it'll happen towards the end of next week. Mancini and De Boer are the two most likely for me.
Finnegan Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 No way they sack him without a replacement all but sorted. Probably tomorrow.
The Doctor Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 They'll have a replacement sorted surely - can imagine Tuesday morning, giving the bloke a chance to watch the Liverpool game.
EGBFitness Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Sunday/Monday. Thinking about the decision it was probably the right time. Before Sevilla everyone would of said he should he gave champions league so should give him that atleast - gave him a game and know if something isn't done sooner will be in deep shit. Week to get someone in (someone who is probably already lined up) to work with the team for a week. Logic probably is Liverpool game is a write off, time to get team playing for Hull (must win) and can have a go at Sevilla and see what we can get.

That would be cracking idea. I'm sure the players would love that. Shakey until the summer. If we stay up performing well give it to him. I don't think the players would mind. But perhaps we should ask them first.
Wymsey Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Reckon 18:00ish tonight there'll be some new manager press conference. Enough time for Liverpool game.
ealingfox Posted 24 February 2017 Posted 24 February 2017 Can't wait for Big Nige to emerge from the tunnel at half time against Liverpool to WWE-style entrance music with Stringer in a headlock.
