broughtonblue Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Anybody heard whether there will be one for the upcoming match? I've not been to one yet but am tempted to try it this time as possibly the last one we will have. Any experiences of the others we have had?

Plenty of Brugge fans in good spirits having a good old knees up. Police rounded them up and had them marching towards the ground at about 6 though. Was a good laugh, might go to the Sevilla one if I get time.

kingcarr21 Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Decent enough but I wouldn't be too worried if you miss out. The Brugge and Porto ones the fans were just kicking a football in the air. No singing as such. Was a good mix though and I didn't see any trouble. They started singing when they left for the ground. I will be down there for the Sevilla fan village but tbh its nothing to feel bad about if you miss it EDIT - Sorry I meant Porto and Copenhagen, I missed the Brugge game
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Anyone know how many they're bringing? Spanish fans don't travel well in my experience.
Ted Maul Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Porto was okay- they had a couple of flags and smoke bombs, sang a bit. For the others, there was more of an atmosphere at the pubs down High Street.
ClaphamFox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 Given that Spanish teams generally don't take many away, maybe a fans' hamlet would be more appropriate? Or a fans' isolated dwelling?

Monsell1976 Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 I thought they was doing a fanzone in seville, admittedly I was very drunk and got lost lots, but did they bother to do anything for us
brisfox Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 According to a British guy in Spain they sold out their 5% allocation

I went to all three on Jubilee Square ....Its mainly just talking and chatting with opposition fans not that much chanting or singing. A lot of the Bruges and Copenhagen fans drank in the pub at the top of High Street but most of the Porto fans were at the fan village itself. If you have not done that I would definitely recommend it… Just to have a yarn with fans from a different country is great crack. There were a few Leicester fans there aswell.
