They could have been going to Rostov or Napoli. Leicester's fvcking paradise compared to those places. If they wanted gorgeous sunshine and tapas they wouldn't bother would they? At least they might get some proper beer here, the selection in Sevilla was shocking.

Hope they have a fans village though, so we know where to find them......

VLC86 Posted 8 March 2017 Posted 8 March 2017 So many bites. So are we saying Leicester is as nice as Seville because that was clearly my point, nothing more. Who said anything about Naples and Rostov?

adejo92 Posted 9 March 2017 Posted 9 March 2017 Yeah Leicester is a great city. The first thing they will see when coming from the train station are the remains of the police tape from where the man was killed on London Road. Leicester is a nice city compared to others however is no comparison to Sevilla.

RonnieTodger Posted 9 March 2017 Posted 9 March 2017 I liked it when they showed some Porto fans gathered on the high street near the clock tower and in the damp as if Walker's butchers was the place to be.
Voll Blau Posted 9 March 2017 Posted 9 March 2017 I actually thought Granby Street had smartened up a tad when I walked down it the other day, long way to go but noticed a few new businesses setting up shop that I hadn't seen before. Weird how some people act like Leicester's the only city in the world where it get can get a bit ropey around the main railway station from time to time.
SecretPro Posted 9 March 2017 Posted 9 March 2017 Leicester is pretty decent as a UK city to be honest, the Lanes, Cultural Quarter, St Martins are all nice. It's no match for some of the top European cities granted, but the only bit of the town centre I'd actually drop a bomb on would be Charles Street. It's fecking filthy round there.

Collymore Posted 12 March 2017 Posted 12 March 2017 The county is beautiful, the city is like any other in the UK, dodgy and nice parts. Take Oxford for example, Hitler didn't want to bomb it because he wanted it for his HQ and it's unbelievable to walk around. There's a few estates at a stone's throw that are some of the biggest dives in the country.
