Chip Shop

[Guest Sharpe's Fox]

The World Cup of Food has fuelled a bitter debate on the subject of the chip shop. In order to prolong this further here's a poll on what you get at the chippy, after a few disclaimers:

although many chippy's will sell KFC style chicken, we'll leave that to the domain of the chicken shop

same with kebabs

and chinese

regional specialties will not be indulged. Pie Barms, deep fried mars bars etc are all out. Any suggestions supported with a sound argument may be considered.

I've never had a saveloy with anything like meat in before.

[StanSP]

what the bloody fvck is 'Pea Wet'?

Genuinely never heard of that in my life.

My choices though, are salt and vinegar with mushy peas.

The watery discharge that rises from standing mushy peas.

Surely no sane person requests that? Oh can you put some bin juice on as well please?

[Arriba Los Zorros]

Mayonnaise should be an option too

[Fox92]

As a northerner, nothing else but gravy. Gravy on everything.

[Carl the Llama]

What is wrong with this place and food polls? No mayo option for the chips = bin.

[Trav Le Bleu]

Where's the salad cream?

agreed

[MC Prussian]

I'm a traditionalist.

Salt & Vinegar, Cod, Mushy Peas (but I can live without them).

The latter choices are all a bit to Eurgh! for my liking.

[separator]

Jumbo sausage, chips, mushy peas. Little bit of salt n vinegar. Heavenly

Ketchup / mayo / salad cream can get fvcked, disgusting stuff.

[Itsthejoeker]

WHERE CAN I GET SCRAPS?!

[VLC86]

Imagine a life so dull that you don't have ketchup on chips.
