How the heck Okazaki starts this one, if he was in international break and he must be completely tired and Slimani wasn't. Slimani deserved to start this one. norwichfox Posted 1 April 2017 Posted 1 April 2017 I've been very critical of Marc up to the point where Shakespeare was given the reins, since then he's been terrific. I don't think Gray is going to be dropping those nice crosses in that have served us so well in the last 4 games....hope he proves me wrong as it's a good chance for him show that he is as good as he thinks he is.

Agree. Don't think it's about the "Slim Clause" at all. Shinji just fits the team and fits Shakey's front foot, in your face approach.

Crinklyfox Posted 1 April 2017 Posted 1 April 2017 I doubt that Shakey would have changed a winning team unless his hand was forced. Albrighton offers more both defensively and through his workrate but Gray is a special talent and I doubt that many defenders fancy facing him. Looking forward to this.

I love him and agree with your assessment, but he's generally quite knackered after he plays for Japan.
