Just been reading some of instagram stuff. Full of stuff like "may your life be prosperous, full of happiness and love" . Seems a bit fvcked up if you're posting stuff like that and beating you're wife up

Actually that's the sort of thing I'd expect a potential psycho to post on the internet.

If somebody said that to you on the street try and tell me you wouldn't think they were a nutter.

He doesn't seem the type. Although that doesn't mean he didn't. I'm think I'll wait until the court and police make a statement. The sun may be more excited about selling papers than the truth. Hope it's not truth, but you can but wait and see.

I reckon the police can drum up a few more charges if they put their minds to it. Being in possession of an offensive price tag??? Come

on you NTNON fans. Help me out!!

To be fair I did say that doesn't mean he didn't do it. It's a gut feeling that may be wrong.

Thing is, we have already set a precedent now. We can't really take the moral high ground anymore.

Shagging hookers is a sackable offence but beating women isn't.

Not if they are grannie  hookers...ask Rooney

lol

Look into that face and tell me he's guilty:

Try to ignore the gold tooth, obviously. That won't do him any favours in the courtroom.

I wouldn't look too deeply into Instagram posts. When this stuff happens, couples pretend that everything is rosy on social media in order to dismiss any allegations.

It's very likely that Ahmed did do something to his wife. Once the police got involved, I'm sure his wife realized that she couldn't afford to make things any worse. Ahmed is the breadwinner of the family and a dip in his career will affect her children's wellbeing. Sadly, she's forced to hide the truth and hope Ahmed stops.

Keep in mind that there doesn't seem to be any evidence or witnesses. So if Ahmed's wife makes it appear like some kind of misunderstanding, he'll get away with it. This isn't strange in cases of spousal abuse.

lot of people here sure condemned him before even knowing what did really happen. Don't rate the footballer but it doesn't prevent me to wait a bit before hanging the man out to dry.

Doesn't seem that long ago he was pictured handing out football shirts to poor kids back home on his week off and everyone thought he was a saint.

But I'm pretty sure we were outraged as he was wearing a United shirt lol

Maybe, but he has reportedly been arrested.

But lets look on the bright side.  At least it wasn't anyone good!

And I thought I was harsh on him...

Saddest thing is he'll probably still end up being dropped from the prison team for being so crap.

Hope his defence is better in court than it was in Sevilla.

I'm cynical.... as a woman it's not like he's built like Was and you wouldn't be able to slap him one back- sorry if that offends anyone but I have been in that position personally so feel able to comment.... the red top media are full of this kind of stuff and it funny as soon as we are on a good run again it's been reported.... I'm of mixed mind about this kind of situation it's different to if a normal woman is being beaten, if you have a high profile high earning footballer husband and his kids - you're not going to end up in a beaten woman's shelter with nothing if you leave you'll get a good divorce settlement and most likely be set for life so there not the same financial fears at least by leaving, itmight sound hard but there's many women who feel they can't leave domestic violence situations because they think they and their kids will live in poverty.... footballers ex wives don't fall into that category.

Anyway that's one woman's point of view - I has a husband and he was a cvunt and rich .... nuff said

Assuming they are married under Islamic/Syariah law having wed in Nigeria, I believe the laws that apply are a bit different. It's much harder for the woman to get a divorce and there are no rights to the spouse's property as far as I know.

Could equally assume they are married under Christian law https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_in_Nigeria if they married in Nigeria ....

It's fine anyway he was trying to smack his neighbour, he just missed the target by 25 yards.
