Hopefully this sparks him to improve as much as the last City player who was hitting his missus .

I've met him in Asda seemed alright not a strange cat had a pic with me and the kids

He was buying bog-standard tins of Whiskas, then, not those silly little pouches of cat food for strangely primped, pampered moggies?

Or she wasn't abused.

In this case it's looking like she wasn't. But 'putting a supportive message on instagram' is not really evidence that a particular woman hasn't been beaten up. I'm talking generally and not this particular case.

Anyway we're getting sidetracked.

He needs to buckle down and concentrate on his football and watch his behavior!. domestic violence against women is wholly unacceptable and that is the message that needs to be put across. yes he is entitled to a private life but these footballers are put on a pedestal by fans and the fact is they are just like everyone else with the same issues and flaws as every other human being and just because they entertain us does not mean they shouldn't be judged like everyone else.

Yo, he's been released with no charge against him.

How the hell did you consider him guilty without even knowing what's really going on? Jesus...

The part of the story that peed me off the most is the 850k house and the two 50k Mercs sat outside it.

This is for a footballer that can't trap a ball....

Even my beloved Leicester City, it would seem, has succumbed to the temptation of signing some very very average players and paying them a ridiculous salary. Shame.

Look into that face and tell me he's guilty:

Try to ignore the gold tooth, obviously. That won't do him any favours in the courtroom.

Only thing this photo proves is that he is about 10 years older than he says he is (as we all suspected)

He was on a higher post-tax salary at CSKA (they pay a lot less tax there). Essentially accepted a wage drop to come here. Think he's on 50k or so

I've no idea what the guy wants to do after football, but there's now a lot fewer things he can do, and a lot who may steer clear of a convicted man. All I'm saying is that he hardly skipped away from the court excitedly deciding his next victim in the happy knowledge nothing will happen, no one will care, no one will talk about it after a while, no one will judge him, the conviction will not follow him around and his life will have no repercussions from the conviction. There's a chance that's the case. But then that's why we have judges to weigh the evidence.

No no one said he skipped away excitedly looking for his next victim?

besides, let's be realistic here...  he's not going to have to worry about handing in a crb to a prospective employer lol he'll be opening his own company.. wether it's a skip hire place, a tattoo parlor or a couple of nightclubs... prem footballers these days will have plenty of money  to invest when they retire..

That's insane. The wages in the PL are insane.

I don't mind (very) good players being highly paid but that piss poor footballer getting in one week what I earn in a bit more of one year is absolutely baffling.

He's payed that because one of the best scouts in the business wanted him.

Nah mate, haven't you read the morons want him sacked because he's's not played brilliantly so far.

They think, the best thing is to write of £16m on someone, who from the last report won't even be facing charges over the alleged incident.

This place is becoming a bit of a joke, the abuse chucked out to our own players is laughable.

hahaha, yeah sack him.

Employment Tribunals love that sort of stuff.

I'll happily have an opinion on his alleged criminal misdemeanour once it comes from better sources than at present.

As for his footballing misdemeanours, in Shakey we trust.

Unlikely on FT lol .........definitely just the beginning on every other footy forum

He'll survive, yet nobody will ever care about his missus during all this palaver.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Not overly encouraging that his ability to produce an awful first touch stretches into his family life.

Feel a bit guilty about repping you for that witty little remark as I quite like Musa and think that, for whatever reason,  he just hasn't shown what he is capable of ....     nah, fvck it ...   a rep on the way !

I think we can file this one under inconclusive.

As others have said being released without charge could just mean his wife has not pressed charges and they have no evidence to hold him. You have to ask why the police arrested him in the first place if there wasn't something in it. But, equally, we don't have any other evidence that he's been smacking his wife around.

We'll probably never know.

Or it could be vindictive neighbours. Maybe an hour after the police a pile of meat feast pizzas turned up, followed by a taxi about four in the morning and finally arriving home from training to find a skip has been delivered and already half filled by his neighbours. lol
