Sad state of affairs when we sing YNWA better than we've ever sung When You're Smiling...

This

Try singing our own song a bit better in future.

How is this thread even still active?!

The volume of our support was fantastic today and YNWA was only sang in the last couple of minutes as banter to the Everton lot.

**** sake, Paying £30 for a match ticket is about enjoying yourself and when your 4-2 down you have to try and do that even more.

Absolute miserable ****ers on here moaning about whats being sung, most of whom probably sat at home. Why don't you make a song sheet so that we all know what to sing and when to sing it? Anyone out of tune can get 30 lashes.

Calm down and have a laugh you mardy arse cnuts.

Can't wait to hear GENERAL FRANCO'S WHITE ARMY belted out at the Calderon on Wednesday.

Ha brilliant, I'll get you a San Miguel for that if I see you.

Bizzare how riled up some of our fans get about a chant that was meant to wind the opposition up. It was a bit weird but the reaction it got was brilliant.

Whenever any issue like this comes up there are a number of posters sat up on their pedestals who are just raring to knock the rest of our fanbase down and for me that's worse than singing YNWA to piss off Everton fans.

If you don't like it fine, don't sing it, accept it for what it is and do what you can to start a new chant. If it was that loud then there was clearly a big section of our support who thought it was fairly funny, maybe ask them why that is.

Or maybe, instead of lambasting swathes of people who spent their Sunday and their hard earned cash to see a sub-standard performance (and then got home to see someone moaning about a song they sung), you should just ignore the song and stop taking yourselves so seriously.

We are so embarrassing turning up at clubs singing "Champions of England you'll never sing that". It's stupid. Everton have won more English titles than we ever will.

Is it just me that, although I see why the majority see it that way, thinks that the thought behind that chant is that the club in question won't be singing it again? We won't be singing it next year just like you don't hear any clubs singing it because they won it 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 years ago.

anyhow wished a couple of lads good luck for wednesday after the match, nice bloke, at the end he said good luck and i laughed as you say we're not playing on wednesday!

liked the sing it til may song

but there are a few divs, as there are everywhere who act hard who havent done the hard miles in...

hope you do it wdnesday

Good win and well deserved.

This isn't a personal dig at you, but how can any team be 7th in the PL, winning 4-2 and still not manage a single song in 90 minutes?

Was it a national day of mourning or something? If so i apologise on behalf of our supporters network.

Ashley's skin is his Leicester kit I swear. Loosen up mate, you'll enjoy it more

I'm amazed (or not, this is foxestalk) this has gotten to four pages and people are still being salty about it.

Our support was fairly good yesterday, some guy starts singing YNWA to wind up the Everton fans (again, successfully btw) right at the end because we're getting hammered and he's bored and this is grounds for "OMG cringe."

Can't help but think that's a little bit of an over reaction.

The thread should be closed for the simple fact the cvnts moaning were not even at the game.

I always thought the idea was to get behind your own players and to piss off the opposition.

Not to sing songs people sat at home like. If your not happy with our traveling fans go to a karaoke.

I suppose the people that weren't at the game didn't quite see that the reaction from the Everton fans is pretty much what made more people join in.

It is quite ironic fans not at the game slagging of fans that have forked out to travel and support our great club.

The people sat at home slagging the fans that travelled are the ones that should hang their heads in shame.

The disgrace is you people slagging off our own for singing a song.

The guys who went yesterday were to be applauded , the song YNWA carries no trademark in a stadium

If the Evertonians were displeased so what.

I was there, I thought it made us look like first rate gimps and was fairly embarrassed, not as much as the lovely IRA chants at WBA last season but more in a cringey way.

All for funny chants but full on belting out another clubs anthem (I know historically it's been sung by other clubs but it is effectively Liverpool's song) just feels plain wrong to me.

It's hardly breaking any laws either but people are allowed to think it was grim.

Judging by the reaction to this, "Raoul Moat's Barmy Army" should be a hoot at Newcastle next time we play them.
