whetstonefox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 I prefer YNWA as sign on, sign on, with a pen in your hand, and you'll never get a job sign on sign on
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 We have a load of absolute bell end fans. This 'you'll never sing that' chant is getting on my tits. Sing it at the likes of Hull and Boro, not at teams which are bigger than us and have been more successful overall. Just makes us look tin pot to be quite honest. Even after Millwall away..still fans sung that! It honestly embarrassing at times. And as for YNWA.... just beggars belief

Singing it to fans of clubs we think are smaller than ourselves makes us arrogant twats, exactly the sort of billy big balls mentality that is being champions is supposed to be the antithesis of. Singing it ironically is far less annoying. Singing it at Sevilla was hilarious.

Just because i know people like you will be sat at home gritting your teeth.

The Everton fans hardly make any noise at all. The YNWA song was just s wind up for a bit of fun.... When you're 4-2 down, i think that's fair enough! Dead right, and I'd have sung along with it too. Hope you and the boys have a great trip this week, they don't know how lucky they are Quote Quote

Indeed, i remember we were belting out with Gusto, on the day we beat Oxford on the day that Tony James`s goal kept us up. Ah yes, remember it well, with the fancy handclaps. I think we were the only club that did the fancy handclaps.

I think if our support was how it was a few years ago it'd have probably swung me to going today. The loudest song of the day is YNWA. Where's the pride? This is the issue in a nutshell for me. People were singing "Liverpool Liverpool Liverpool" prior to that louder than they sang "Leicester Leicester Leicester" all game FFS. No pride, no dignity - and in general, you need to retain those attributes to make "great wind-ups" worthwhile. I'll admit, it did rile a lot of Everton fans at the time but they, and whoever was watching on TV, will just have been left thinking "why did Leicester sing that louder than anything else all day? Embarrassing" rather than "fvcking bellends, proper wound me up that - great support". Still if this is the new standard we're setting ourselves, I can't wait to sing the United Calypso next time we play Man City.
FoxesDeb Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Don't really care what anyone else thinks, as long as our travelling fans enjoyed it surely that's what matters?

Sol thewall Bamba Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Sad state of affairs when we sing YNWA better than we've ever sung When You're Smiling...

Finnegan Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 It was absolutely not louder than anything else sung, that's just out right rubbish. For a start... OOOOOOH HIS NAME IS LEONARDO!
yorkie1999 Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Ha ha this thread. Fvckin have a beer and lighten up.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Alot of you ****ers need to lighten up!!! It was a piss take to get a rise out of the boring Scousers and it worked. If we were winning and did that everyone would have been loving it. Get off your high horses you miserable twats
Great Boos Up Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 YNWA, or as I like to call it yawn. It's a throwaway chant in a naff game we thought we get a point out of in an awful atmosphere of a six goal sky anecdote cliché fest. The point is I heard all you guys way over and above a dull badison park. The next game please.
evertonfc Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 everton here - last year i said yours was the most popular league ever - it was watched your lads and no problem but, really, singing ynwa and didn't you also sing liverpool! anyhow wished a couple of lads good luck for wednesday after the match, nice bloke, at the end he said good luck and i laughed as you say we're not playing on wednesday! liked the sing it til may song but there are a few divs, as there are everywhere who act hard who havent done the hard miles in... hope you do it wdnesday

SemperEadem Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 The oh have a beer its just banter brigade where is your pride in support?! We can't even get a decent airing of WYS together now. The support is a representation of the city of Leicester and its pride, singing absolute dross embarrasses us. State of singing other teams songs louder and with more passion than our own. It is pathetic.

It actually got a reaction out of them boring twat Everton fans. If your team is losing what do you do? Leave early? Sit there moaning? Or antagonise the opposition fans? I prefer the 3rd option. Don't give a shit if it's another teams song, all songs we sing are done by other teams in different ways. And anyone who comments on this that wasn't even at the game can **** right off. I was at the game and thought our fans were great today Funniest part of the match was YNWA. The utter disgust in their passive fans faces was incredible. Wouldn't have sang it myself but it got their backs up. I think it's equally as funny that it winds up half of our fans so much, I'm sure the Champions of England you'll never sing that is to wind us lot up as much as the teams that have done it 100s of times.

Fans can and will sing what they want. Anyway who put you in charge of our away support.

C-man Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Can't wait to hear GENERAL FRANCO'S WHITE ARMY belted out at the Calderon on Wednesday.
Guest claude_leic Posted 9 April 2017 Posted 9 April 2017 Our end was actually okay today. The only bad thing about Ranieri leaving is that we have lost half of our songbook.
