Why are people celebrating Watford taking the lead? We're not in a relegation battle (11 points clear as it stands), rather they don't win and we get into the top half.

Give that there has to be one of three outcomes, the best for us is probably a home win as we still have to play Watford. Second would be a draw. Therefore, Watford taking the lead is a good thing.

Because he asked at the start of the transfer window.

Ulloa tried to force it on deadline day.

How do you not see a difference?

Ulloa asked before deadline day. Schlupp was allowed to leave before that day Son ever had a problem. Obviously Ulloa got to that day and felt he was being forced to stay against his wishes and saw no other way to resolve it.

King is just a wasted shirt man. I love him but other than keeping the team ticking over he never does anything. He's probably only had about 3 or 4 above average games since promotion.

He was third/fourth choice in our Championship winning season, how is he still getting games!?

We should have had a recall option in Matty James loan deal.

Because getting in the top half doesn't really benefit us that much, other than a menial increase in revenue for finishing higher. There's no reason why we shouldn't prioritise safety first.

I'd say our complete lack of being able to pass the ball 10 yards in a straight line to a white shirt has had far more impact on that than the referee.

But that's standard for us... the ref has let them off everytime we have a set piece by giving soft free kicks we've not been able to build any pressure... any team would struggle with decisions going against them like that.

weve not been that good but you could see how pissed off huth was with the ref at the end of the half

Is it just me, or has King done alright so far?

He's no world beater, but steadys the ship, gets stuck in a lot more these days and usually keeps the ball pretty well.

If King wasn't a part of the LCFC furniture and we had signed him in the past 2 seasons he wouldn't touch a matchday squad, pure sentiment

If his name was Ahmed Slimani he'd have been run out of town by now.

Nailed on goal by him now though I've said that.

Can only assume you didn't see the game on Wednesday.

Dealt with Koke and Gabi and let Ndidi deal with Griezmann and we were fine afterwards. The first half was a bit of a mess.

The referee also gave us the softest freekick ever when Zaha and Kasper jumped for the same ball.

Swings and roundabouts.

And if we were at any risk of going down, that'd be fine. But we're not. Mathematically not safe, granted, but technically neither are west brom (Boro on 21 with 7 games left, could finish on 45).

Doc, you know what we mean. 8 points is not insurmountable, 21 is never, ever going to happen.
