ScouseFox Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 decent swing in the betting back towards may, not sure what that's based on but i'm sure the bbc will update us in a week or so.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 The is interesting on the BBC, it is becoming clear former UKIP voters are split between conservatives and labour certainly making for an exciting election

I can't see it, they even lost vote share in Yeovil tonight and lost by 15,000 to Tories - that was a target seat. The election is absolutely unbelievable, Labour are picking up UKIP and Tory votes and Tories are somehow picking up West Country remain votes and SNP votes. It's completely mental - all the normal rules are out the window.

Only looking at Betfair but I'm pretty sure the swing was when the Putney result was announced.

I gave an example of this for both parties in my original post to make it more balanced as I have my doubts on whether Tories actually want to privatise NHS completely. The anecdote I used to present consequences was the latest one I have heard and is not intended to stereotype voters. Once again, I think your reply has proven how tribal politics appears to me and uneccesary so.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Conservatives taken Angus! this is very exciting. This is so difficult to predict anything could happen

The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 if it ends up flipping into a tory majority still, at least we have that. **** that ****ing ****
Guest Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 N.Warwickshire tory swing shows how messy tonight seems to be. I do think if any of the vote relates to brexit - and I'm not sure it does - it might show people WANT a soft brexit, not hard.
Captain... Posted 9 June 2017 Posted 9 June 2017 Getting quite drunk now, hope I don't wake up to a Tory majority and a hangover

Labour's view of Brexit is a lot closer to mine and a Lib Lab coalition (unlikely I know) could see a Labour negotiated Brexit with a referendum to agree to it or we remain. Ok that is definitely the beer talking.
