Japanfox Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Last year was the best year of my life and I'm sure others too. Wouldn't it be poetic for Leicester to beat spurs and do Chelsea a favour?
davieG Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 We didn't really need them to 'do us a favour' and I'm sure they don't need us either but let's just beat Spurs for ourselves.
Jimothy Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 I want to finish as high up the league as possible, so that means beating Spurs. The fact it could hand Chelsea the title would just be an added bonus.
urban.spaceman Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 They couldn't beat us last season (except in the cup thanks to a dodgy penalty leading to a replay we didn't really want, and actually did us a favour in having just the league to concentrate on) and there's no way in hell we should let them beat us this season. If Chelsea need our help, it's our duty to oblige - you know, for a laugh. Let's get @Union FS to do a TIFO of Vardy's Lion King tweet and put the lyrics for "Who came third in a two horse race" on all the clappers. Even if we don't beat them we could at least enjoy Spurts having the best two seasons for two whole generations and having absolutely nothing to show for it except this: Oh, and finishing above Arsenal for the first time in a generation. Which we managed before them. Ha. I don't like Spurs.
brucey Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Would be hilarious banter, but no. We won't be on the beach and we'll try our best to finish 8th, but I'm not interested in helping any clubs that have and will attempt to steal our players.
Captain... Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 I would love for all the players to come out and say the same stuff Hazard and co did last season before the game, just to really wind them up. I want to win the game, because I want to win every game, not to help Chelsea, but it would be an added hilarious bonus if we hand Chelsea the title.

Lovejoy Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 I'm not going to say the correct thing here, as it should be about winning for us, but if we do stop Spurs winning the title, it'll be bloody brilliant. Their fans are total bell3nds.
kingcarr21 Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 The league will be wrapped up by then. If Chelsea win there games before we play Spurs the league is done. Chelsea play Boro(H), West Brom(A) and Watford (H) before we play Spurs. Would be nice to end Spurs title charge ourselves but I doubt it will come to it
Wymsey Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Bet we'll sing ''Champions of England, you'll never sing that!''..
Guest claude_leic Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Obv we should try and win the game - as we should every game - but this Chelsea love in needs to get in the bin. Would much rather Spurs and their team of young English players win the league than Chelsea's mercenaries. Can't stand Chelsea, they represent a lot of what is wrong with modern football. We would have still comfortably won the league if they didn't draw with Spurs last year.
AKCJ Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 If "DID YOU CRY AT STAMFORD BRIDGE" isn't sung until we're blue in the face then we'll have let football down.

Would prefer winning the PL to remain amongst the fewest clubs to make our achievement all the more special. Next you'll be wanting West Brom to win it cos they're a midlands club!
MPH Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 For me it wouldnt be about doing Chelsea a favour, it would be about seeing those sad little Spurs faces
UPinCarolina Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Said it before, but Spurs are our World Series / Super Bowl / Championship Playoff Final / FA Cup Final / etc. for 2016-2017. We will jacked up and ready to rumble.

You're exactly right there! Anyone but the big clubs (apart form local rivals)!
Frank43 Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 "Next you'll be wanting West Brom to win it cos they're a midlands club!" Let's not get TOO ridiculous. I still loathe Chelsea for poaching Kante' - which hashed up the season until Craig taught the lads how to play without him.

Usually I would agree with every word but the shite attitude from Spurs fans towards us last season left a bad taste. Also the expectations from North London that we would be an embarrasment in the champions league. Spurs, always the bridesmaid.
