st albans fox Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 Wonder if he will end up at his new club on the same salary as here to make it all work.

I wonder how the rest of the squad will treat him if he does return to training today? The whole situation can't be good for squad morale can it? There is no disrespect fro him towards his team mates thats legit and his statment was directed to the owners reaction to any refusal or betrayal I endorse the hard play of the owners in keepong the 50 m as his price tag no way mahrez going for the cheap I do believe that mahrez is professionnal and man enouph to face his team mates and the fans and cope with the pressure when returning to training and i think the club is right to predict his departure and sign his replacemwnt in time to avoid any obstacle in craig shakeseapere to do a good pre season

You mean in red shirt In the starting 11 or by respect to his former club asking to play some decent minutes, because mahrez has the right to force the owners to aacept the 35 m or doing a payet Hahhahahahha

We own his rights and we will do with them what we please. 50 million or get back to training and start putting some effort in.
GaelicFox Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 None of the massive clubs want him his behaviour and attitude has already damaged him Arsenal will take a punt at 35m but no one else remotely interested he is toxic now ! Football is a small world I'm sure there is off field issues as well now so he has two choices 1) give us a world class season and get all the big clubs gagging for him 2) sulk and moan and end up back in France in a couple of years at Nice or some place like that ! We are about to find out if he really is the world class player many on here think he is personally I believe he was a one season wonder and World class show pony really hoped arsenal would pay the £50m i now really hope the club stick to thier guns

RODNEY FERNIO Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 Arsenal fans seem to think they are in the driving seat and can therefore push down the price ..... WHY ???????????? He's signed a long term contract and we are not desperate for the money ???

Aren't you forgetting that last season he was a million miles away from the PFA player of the year that he was the year before.. This time last year his stock was at its highest.. After his inept performances throughout the whole of last season his value has plummeted.. No one else is even interested in signing him apart from that senile old git Wenger!!.. Take the 35m fast!!

I had nothing to forgive Leo for, he wanted to play when other weren't performing and he never got his chances, his statements were prehaps abit OTT, could have been worded abit better but people were too thick to simply see he wanted to play, he wanted to move so he got game time, he was even willing to take pay cuts. I'm not gonna slag a player off for wanting to help us, or atleast try. Riyad...Oh dear, what have you done. Not performed all season, made a stupid statement and now having to turn up back at training today (He reports back today) with your tail between your legs, a deal may still be done but it's looking more and more unlikely. Now hopefully he does end up staying and hopefully he sorts his head out, knuckles down, plays well...that is the way to engineer a move young Riyad, not the way you've gone about it over the past year. I'd love to see the reaction of the other players (Or some of them anyway) when Riyad turns up this morning, awkward?! (Think i'm being a little naive, of course they'll welcome him back with open arms...)

LCFC_Oak Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 If he does stay though... Give him a free role in front of a midfield four. If he sulks and doesn't perform push Iborra up and bring in Drinky. Vardy, Kelechi and Riyad running at your back 4 with chilly and Albrighton supporting on the wings, with Iborra arriving late a bit like Lampard used to.... Vardy Iheanacho Mahrez Chilly Iborra Ndidi Albrighton Wes/. Huth. Maguire Gibson/ Evans/
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 Good side ... but rather have Mahrez on the flank instead of Chilwell .. Slim up top with Vardy and Kelechi just behind.

Matt Posted 7 July 2017 Posted 7 July 2017 7 minutes ago, HoustonFox said: And Drinky?! Why is everyone dropping Fuchs for Chilwell all of a sudden? Based on early season form last year I can understand why, but pretty much the whole team was dogpoo, he did then pick up. I think it's fairly reasonable to say Chilwell will replace Fuchs and make the position his own by the end of the season.
