We don't have to just roll over and accept whatever fee they deem acceptable.

The insiders of the footballing world will know a lot more than we do. We know the bloke appears to be a bit of a crap negotiator but we don't know the full extent of that whereas other people might know. Maybe the reasoning is if clubs feign disinterest until the last minute then we'll be under so much pressure Rudders will crack and we'll sell Mahrez for 25 million + silly performance related addons that will never be hit. I'd like to think there is just a genuine disinterest in Mahrez so he stays but who knows.

Yeah I've seen that as well Monaco don't want to face losing lemar and bakayoko in the same transfer window but will obviously make an exception if the price is right for example £80 million

He may well deserve it, I really don't know, but can you name me anyone at our football club who gets more abuse than Rudkin on this forum?

Im not saying it was all about Jeff....it wasn't of course. But given the circumstances, you could argue 13 million was value.
