He's still a one season wonder though, sulk all he wants but untill he delivers again nobody will touch him for £50mill. I guess I simply see it as hypocrisy once more. You can bet your bottom dollar, if the player making waves to leave either wasn't any good, or wasn't liked (or both), then there would be no question of anyone wanting him back in the team, regardless of whether he was 'going to try harder' or not. He'd be vilified. Eg. Schlupp. Because Mahrez is 'a good player' the rules change?

Edit: worth pointing out that the story is that he was brought to my barber because my barber is Algerian and Riyad didn't speak a lot of English when he first came here. It's pretty close to the ground though. No idea where he actually leaves.

dynamark Posted 8 July 2017 Posted 8 July 2017 Why would he go to an irish barber? What happened to the Suez canal fella. My lad has just rang me from Sudbury prison so its definitely Riyah at Wimbledon

Erm ain't Slimani 8 goals 5 assists better than 10G, 5A ?? Plus am sure Slimani played less game than Mahrez? Its a shame he wants to leave dunno why but I always want all our players be with us for ever. Never mind stays or go he'll always be a fox and will back him as a fox and thank him for helping us win PL

Better hope Iheanacho signs and Vardy stays fit else we're gone.

Personally, I'd feel more comfortable about watching players playing for Leicester who actually want to play for Leicester. Even if it meant we lost a few games. I must be old-fashioned in this respect. I love watching an on-form Mahrez. But if he keeps on bleating about wanting away, he can feck off and we'll start against Arsenal with players who want to wear blue. It seems like Mahrez wants to wear red.
dynamark Posted 8 July 2017 Posted 8 July 2017 Sorry Fin that is the Suez canal shop then. Why is an irish fella going to an Algerian barber,Im trying! Rents a nice place in Stoneygate I believe

I'll just leave this here; More like because they were expecting to get someone skillful. Slimani is a natural goalscorer, but and amazing flair player as well. He would have scored easily 15-20goals or even more if he was the main striker. The problem is that i don't see where he can play in this system? Even if i think that this 442 is doomed to failure.

Yeah, this thread is 130 odd pages of people dreaming of replacing Mahrez with a Burnley workhorse. You've got to stop listening to those voices in your head.

The players that play in the blue of Leicester do so because we're paying them handsomely. Those who want to move are either not playing or want more money. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Only King is different. He would play for us regardless and you don't want him.
