Do people know nothing about football, do some digging about what City thought of him ffs. And he dragged them from midtable to title winners. I met plenty of City fans when I lived in Manchester and nobody said a bad word about him. And also from their forum...." I missed his maddness Not perfect but I have him back in a heartbeat ".

baldeagle Posted 21 May 2017 Posted 21 May 2017 Christ since when did we become so big we could turn down a manager like Mancini . Yes he has flaws but he's still a massive manager
Stadt Posted 21 May 2017 Posted 21 May 2017 This would pan out how everybody expected Ranieri's tenure would. The only appointments that wouldn't have me pissed off that Shakey wasn't given the job would be Schmidt or possibly Silva.
CosbehFox Posted 21 May 2017 Posted 21 May 2017 If you type in Mancini bust up on google, the amount of players he's reportedly fell out with is quite some going.

Ranieri was considered to have done a good job, but many were glad he went. The bloke causes too many issues and is totally the opposite of what our players respond to.

Also found a comment on the Blue Moon forum what says it got to the stage at Man City where Zabaleta and Silva had to discuss with the board Mancini's behaviour.

He is precisely the opposite of what we need. Baffling that anyone could see this seasons shambles and how players reacted and said that.
