They've closed the book decent sign tbf

Remember when Vardy was 1/10 to go to Arsenal last summer? Never trust the odds.

Haha true that. Arsenal meltdowns worth the wait.

Really hope this is right and that Stan is correct. This lad would be a good signing BUT he must get the proper supply. I'm not gonna be too happy until we see that key, quality midfielder come in. That unlocker of defences.

Striking options of Vardy, Slim and Kelechi is exciting. But they must get the supply.

I'm as hopeful as everyone else that this deal gets done but bear in mind, 'personal terms' are still to be confirmed/agreed.

Wouldn't surprise me if Iheanacho asks for 6 figures salary to be honest.

I'd be surprised if he didn't.

Really good signing this'll be. Anyone know what the deal with buy back clause is? How much it'll be?

Not sure if you're on the wind up? But if you read further back up this thread you could make your own judgement (based on the speculation).

I've rated Iheanacho for a great while. Good finisher, impressive goal record at Manchester City. He would be a real coup if we manage to sign him.

Missed that, my bad.

£50m is probably the ceiling for a club of our size, anyway. Even with inflation I doubt we'd get more even if he scored 20+ goals a season.

Plus the buyback deal means that if another club becomes interested in him, we won't be low-balled with £30m offers as we'll have a valuation almost set in stone.

The day I watched a Sacramento school football press conference was probably one of my fondest lol.

Look no further than @Ric Flair wanting Bob Bradley lol! I darent read further for the fear that I've probably endorsed this or David Moyes.

I'd think we could negotiate a deal TBH. Suggestions on 'Blue Moon' that he's not on astronomical wages there. Plus he's not going to be warming his backside on a bench, week in ,week out !

£50k/wk according to some reports

You wanted Steve Cotterill, I remember it clearly :D

Almost as much as I wanted Crustacea inhabiting my boxers.

Think this one will be down to 'who'll pay him the most'.

If this is the case, his attitude won't fit in with Leicester's ethos etc.
