Beat the Bank won impressively in a weakened Group 3 at Goodwood just.

He won easily, soon as the gap appeared he was gone.

Good thread this,  post the winner after the event, would be nice if punters told us about owners horses running before the race

Worked at Goodwood today and saw John Rudkin with a Thai contingent rushing off to get back to Leicester after their horse had raced

Yeah, nothing got near it once Moore said go. Quite an impressive turn of foot on the ground

well done fox beat a head today at Salisbury, wonder who in the group likes a punt, was 7/2 into 15/8 so obviously a tidy amount of money around. hopefully that's not the Pereira money down the drain.

Vichai likes a punt. Our transfer policy should tell you that!

owners had 2 in that race one was fairly tailed off!

don't think they have a clue to be honest. They've spunked fortunes

racing is pretty much a machine gun approach  ..... for every horse that turns out well, there are plenty more that don’t. The coolmore approach seems to get results but they have a wealth of quality dams to breed from and even then they have many duds on the track. If Vichai is buying well bred horses then he will get results in the longer term, both on and off the course. I expect he is getting good advice in this regard.

Happy Power is running in the 2pm at Newbury , currently 12/1 against an odds on fav (which cost a fraction of the money) , but probably worth a small e/w punt .I've already done a shedload of dough backing KP runners this summer , but just can't ignore them .

Beat the Bank was by far the best of last years buys and runs in the Lockinge on Sat so there's no Royal Wedding on our TV.

Their newcomer this evening at Windsor, ‘come on leicester’ won handily and now goes to royal ascot. Gonna be brilliant if she’s is involved in a close finish with the commentator having to keep on saying ‘come on leicester’!

Rome wasn’t built in a day - they look to be trying to build a long term breeding program with plenty of filly’s. They can afford to send their broodmares to the best stallions. a bit like spending 80m on the new training centre rather than just spunking it on more players.

Btw, suspect rudders got some professional assistance rather than just ollowing his own instincts

Fastest way to being a millionaire ? Have a billion and Buy horses

they are being mugged off , everyone knows it In Racing , the fillies haven’t got foundation mare pages

they will spunk 50m and realise that Rudkin is a fool and the agent who is buying will have a retirement nest egg off the back of this madness

so rudkin is a director of football and racing too? surely not.

i hope he gets advice on this. in my view Andrew balding is a good trainer but they have spread the stock around a bit as richard hannon jnr trains tonights winner.

it will take several years for the fruits of their investment to be realised in this game and longer than it took the football team to achieve success

Also has work to do with Leuven, not exactly sure what his role is there but he’s involved, Leicester need a dedicated DOF not a jack of all trades (master of none)

King Power Racing bought Vintage Brut for £280k and Main Street for £300k on Monday. They've managed to beat one horse each in the first two races at Royal Ascot today!

Come on Leicester came 5th in a large field yesterday at ascot. I know because I had a couple of quid e/w and 5th paid out with bet365.

The King Power boys are splashing cash around. £20m or so on Maddison and nearly £600k on two horses on Monday to try and “buy” a Royal Ascot winner.

So far no luck as you say, last and last but one today. I hope not the same result for us in the Premier League this coming season.
