It's only because I had a google about it all this afternoon. The article published the other day mentioning their increased wealth said 25%   I wonder if the disparity is because 39% of Airasia Thailand is 25% of Airasia in it's totality. Just a thought?

air Asia is $2.5 billion market cap !!

in any case, Thai air Asia is a joint venture between air Asia and a Thai airline company

Fair enough. I bow to your superior knowledge:D either way it makes very good business sense to monopolise duty free on an airline if you no longer have a monopoly on the ground.

Good luck to em. I'm sure they won't be short of a bob or two over the next few years.

Can she play behind vardy?

Probably. Just need to run circles around opponents, nip at their heels to disrupt the flow of their attacks, and try not to fall over.

Reckon a horse would be decent at that. Also, SO MUCH PACE

Spent a cool 400k on Tisbutadream today at auction. Taking the racing pretty seriously!

You haven't got to wait long to see it race as It's at Ascot on Wednesday

Got three running at the Royal meeting, very nice position to be in:

I could have got him into the royal enclosure for less than 2 million!

Clearly a sales ploy to offer horses at an auction a few days before ascot that are engaged in races there. if they had a serious chance of winning then surely you would sell them afterwards ?????

hope this approach isn't reflected in our transfer policy !!!!

Bearing in mind I know nothing about horse racing. How do you make money as an owner?. Is prize money that lucrative?.

easier to win the premier league !  this is probably more about status at the moment but it is possible to make proper money from breeding if you get really lucky

Did you hear about the horse who played for the village cricket team .Went out and hit six sixes in the first over.Second over batsman at the other end called for a single and the horse just stood there .Fella shouted run run .Horse replied run if I could run Id be at Ascot.

Costs serious money to play  in that area but the big money is in stud and breeding.Trainers will always tell you your horse has a chance and keep you interested.May as well tear up money and throw it out the window.

Fair play to them.

Part of their investments will be due to the uncertainty in Thailand, the king and the prime minister aren't exactly on their side anymore which will make things difficult for them. In Thai there are 17 words for bribe, make of that what you will.

In terms of the horses, Rudkin has been looking at horses for them for a while, which sums his role up really.

Hahahahaa I bet Rudkin plans their family wedding as well. Extraordinary. That man know very little about football yet has been involved in it for decades, what on earth does he know about horses? It's quite scandalous businessmen this successful trust that chod ball.

Beat The Bank and Tisbutadream run today in the 2.30 and 5.35 respectively. 600/1 double. £2 e/w

If you have a successful horse it's re sale value will go up as well as for value for breeding, maybe they have a Steve Walsh type scout for horses.

maybe there's a Robert hoof out there somewhere

Owners are having a mare

This week they bought a load of horses for ascot week

the total cost of the 7 horses our owner bought at Goffs London Sale to run at Royal Ascot  so far they cost : £1.785 million

Total prizemoney earned: £5,400

Jesus no wonder put transfer policy is shite at the moment

since the King died these owners have had no luck

this is mental its ok saying it's peanuts to them and yes it is

but embarrassingly they are buying donkeys and watching them finish down the field

rich men don't like that

Yep, just need to find the horse racing equivalent of Steve Walsh when it comes to equine recruitment. They'll have won the Derby by this time next year?

To to be honest I don't think they give one, just wanted to hob nob in top hat and tails with the great and the good at "ascut". As others have remarked, there are cheaper ways to do it, but they seem to be enjoying themselves.

Consider the track record of these guys... they'll want this to be a successful venture, they don't do failure.
