From - http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/here-s-how-leicester-city-could-play-six-times-at-wembley-next-season/story-30391941-detail/story.html

Leicester City could end up playing SIX times at Wembley. So, after the serious bit yesterday following the release of the Premier League fixtures, here's a bit of fun and just how those six games could pan out.

Game 1: This is definite. Sunday, May 13, City will play Tottenham at Wembley, which will be their home ground next season during the redevelopment of White Hart Lane. It is the closing day of the Premier League season.

Game 2: But City could be at Wembley eight days earlier on Saturday, May 5. It's about time City had a good FA Cup run and a Wembley final, so let's say 2018 is going to be City's year. Two visits to Wembley in little over a week.

Game 3: If City are in the FA Cup final, they will have to have played and won at Wembley in the semi-finals which, of course, now take place at Wembley. That's three visits in little over a month.

Game 4: City draw Tottenham away in the earlier rounds of the FA Cup, or need a replay to beat the north London side. Of course, that game would be at Tottenham's home ground – Wembley Stadium.

Game 5: Earlier in the season, City revive their love affair with the League Cup, so evident during the Martin O'Neill years, and reach the Wembley final.

Game 6: And to give us the round half-a-dozen, City beat Tottenham away in the earlier rounds of the League Cup.

Unlikely? Of course. So we asked one bookmaker to give us the odds. It's 5,000-1,

Could be worth a cheeky Tenner i suppose

not really. the other one was based on 1 competition, albeit with more matches. this also relies on us beating spurs 3 times in a season.

Given we're always drawn against Spurs in the Cups it's worth a tenner of anyone's money.

Ok ...your anyone...put a tenner down for me....I'll pay you, from the winnings later...

Silly me.....!!!

.I got you mixed up with someone, its easy anybody could do it.Even the somebodies can lose it.!!!

Everyone deserves at least one chance, though it becomes unfair if everybody gets involved then the odds

Go down. ..dont split hairs get that bet in...:D

We'll lose in the 4th round of the FA cup in a completely winnable game, we'll rest players so we can concentrate on finishing 10th instead of 11th.

...and people on here will defend the decision. Quoting the new Premier League reward structure in the process.

Well , you should never say never with Leicester City!

A team could theoretically play (and beat) Spurs away in the F.A.Cup quarter Final then return there for the semi's and Final and play there in the league in that period or with the luck of the draw Spurs could win the cup having played every game at Wembley. As someone who doesn't even like the semi's being there, to quote Graham Taylor, "Do I not like that"!

only relies on us beating them once (away in the early rounds of league cup)

get them early in fa cup and draw, bring them home to win

league is guaranteed

fa cup semi final, final and also league cup final.

not sure how you have come to the conclusion that for 6 wembley trips we require 3 wins v spurs?

We don't even need to beat them if we play them in the semi-finals.

Could draw away and win at home to progress.

of course! forgot that league cup semis are over 2 legs haha!

would still require us beating them, but that could be in the form of 2 draws and a penalty shoot-out.

More to the point what's the odds on any team not in the charity shield playing six games at Wembley other than spuds.

id have a tenner on any team doing it not just us.

That's six games potentially January to May 2018......but looking at 2018 calendar year....Game 7 The Charity Shield at Wembley,  Game 8 Chelsea Away in the league at their new temporary home at Wembley once Spurs have moved out, Game 9 Chelsea away in the League cup.....I'm bored of Wembley now.

The jurno that wrote and dreamed up that non story needs to step back from his keyboard

Pre-season ain't it? The Birmingham Mail had an online article summing up the FA Cup Dates.

Which the journo for the Mercury got wrong. The FA Cup Final is on Saturday 19th May 2018, rather than the 5th.

Don't waste your money. These ridiculous 5,000-1 shots NEVER happen.
