Bazly Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Ndidi has hit the top 10 global list of most valuable U21's, value Euro30mn. Now that's serious inflation, should be Euro80mn this time next year. Lets hope he fulfils his potential as a LC player.
Nalis Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Ndidi is so composed I kept forgetting he's that young. Re: that list, as good as Rashford is Gabriel Jesus would be worth more, the guy's gonna be one of the worlds best within 5 years.
desertfox2 Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 And massively undervalued as there is no way we would sell him for anything like that. Sky's the limit for Ndidi. He's already quality, can see him becoming world class and I know that is a term banded around a lot. Can see a Real Madrid or Barca wanting him in a couple of years if he keeps going the way he is.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Settled straight into the team and looked the most composed at times. Going to be a top top player. Not surprised by this.

Dan Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 He tailed off a little towards the end of the season but he's 21 years old and played about 60 games last season. He was bound to be knackered. A good pre-season will do him good. Think he'll be a fantastic player.

Ndidi is going to be a superb player, either for us or someone else when he moves on.

NGoloMode Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 He's been caught age frauding though https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2013/04/13/3-nigerian-footballers-caught-age-cheating/

So if he is 20 now then he would have been 16 then and therefore eligible to play in that U17 tournament. That MRI test by CAF allowed some leeway in line with the margin of error for the test and he still failed. So if he definitely was too old for the U17 tournament then, he is definitely older than 20 now. Unless that test has since been proved to be false or seriously flawed, I don't know. Still doesn't stop Ndidi from being a fantastic player, whether he's 20, 22 or 25.
foxy boxing Posted 16 June 2017 Posted 16 June 2017 He's extremely valuable to us and is still developing and maturing and will only get better and it is a must that we keep him long term

He's contracted with us for another 5 years so we have got him throughout his prime regardless.
Clever Fox Posted 17 June 2017 Posted 17 June 2017 Wilf is just a natural footballer and Athlete. He's only going to get better as he get stronger. He could even be our star player next season now that he's settled into the Club and League.
LCCFox96 Posted 18 June 2017 Posted 18 June 2017 Wilf was an absolute coup for us. He's literally a hybrid of Vieira and Toure. A summer break and pre-season with us and hopefully he'll kick on again. Literally, he is one of the only reasons the 15/16 system is still an option for us next year.

At best 1-2 years older than he claims, but he may well be as old as he claims. There have been Nigerians born in the USA, who failed the tests, so there is a margin of error.

Sounds like it's more complicated than that article let on then. More margin for error than they initially referred to.
Marutimon Posted 19 June 2017 Posted 19 June 2017 Here: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/09/mri-scan-fails-true-u-17-player-born-us/ Ndidi failed the MRI scan in April 2013, but passed it in June 2012 during the first callups.
Darkon84 Posted 19 June 2017 Posted 19 June 2017 If Wilf isn't the age he says he is, he's at most 1 or 2 years older, which doesn't pose much of a problem. it could be worse, he could be '20 year old' Joseph Minala
