Saw all 3 today in that JC sports. Blue is crap, white is boring not particularly bad just bland. Blacks alright. Didn't buy any though.

And to think the last season or so was tough to get a top.

New manager in the summer, finished last season strongly....

I like it!  But Arse away instead of Sunderland home is the wrong type of opener.  If we can bag 4 and win, I am all in on this kit.

Best of the 3, however I really liked the home shirt till I saw it in person and saw how cheap and tacky to gold bit on the arms looked which I think might peel off, this has blue bits which I don't think will look as tacky but the peeling bit may still occur.

Bought the black strip for the lad the other week and one for myself and we wore for 1st time at the ManU game.

30'C quickwash in the washing machine inside out as usual and the lads has came out with half the dots on shoulder/sleave hanging / fallen off.

Anyone any experience of this taking them back to shop ????

Mines aint been washed yet, and needs one after those sweaty 90 minutes in the sun...........

Are these handwash only to be sure of have we just been unlucky ?

thanks for any advise

who are we having? it will be ordered by now.

Please not Adidas. Nike would be okay. Umbro for my first vote, otherwise something a bit eccentric like Kappa. Make a mint kit for leeds.

We have been through 3 shirts now for my 5 year old son. All washed as per the label instructions, all have had the gold peeling off. First 2 we had replaced, the 3rd we had our money back.

Spoke to the sales assistant who spoke to her supervisor and the message was that there are aware of issues with the black strip and it's the only one that they've had issues with out of all the kits with the same design.

Puma apparently won't do anything about it until at least 30% of the stock provided had been returned, so the club are fully aware there is an issue with the black shirts, but they claim they can't do anything to resolve the issue.

They did say they've ordered a new batch which they are expecting (hoping, more likely) will resolve the issue, but until that batch arrives they are still selling the current batch knowing there is a potential fault with them all.

Oh and my black shirt was also washed today for only the second time and guess what happened? Another trip back to the shop and another refund I think.

Stay clear of the black shirt I think is the lesson here!

Cant wait for the club to bin off Puma...

30% returns rate before they will consider doing anything wow!!

I know most retailers will start to look at a line if there's 4-5% returns.

Problem here is most clubs know people will still buy next year's shirt even if the quality of this year's was awful.

To be fair there's not much wrong with the puma shirts, they look nice and the quality looks great.

But we don't have puma shirts, we have genesis shirts under the puma brand.

Compare Arsenal's shirt to ours. The template is the same but the quality is far superior.

Whoever become the kits supplier from next season will already be on a winner because of the poor quality of the last few seasons. They've looked good, but the fits have been terrible and as we all know there has been an issue with peeling letters etc etc

I really really don't want a Nike or Adidas kit though.

A Nike kit will be all blue (see Chelsea) with a gold band down the side under the arm.

An Adidas kit will be blue with 3 gold stripes down the side under the arm. (See every bloody shirt Adidas make.

See of the kits around in the 90's were horrendous but at least they were unique. Still love the early 90's butka kit we had
