I saw James bracketed a lot when we tried to bring it out, though perhaps you mean elsewhere in the field, or saw something I missed. Beginning of the build-up from the back, I thought they were begging us to try that pass.

It was towards the end especially a moment at the end when he was in acres in their third... just gives team more options

Fair enough. I've only really seen him these few games in pre season and I guess I'm not used to seeing any pace at the back normally ?

Just noticed a lot of people saying James has been poor and N'didi excellent. Not sure if I'm dreaming the game I'm watching. Haha.

Disappointed with Gray! Take your chance sunshine! Barely touched the ball.

Yeah he's Usain Bolt compared to Morgan and Huth lol

Gonna be a long hard season on this evidence. Wish the team would spend as much time on keeping better possession in transition as they obviously do on working on shape without the ball.

Agree with that but think you're overestimating opposition in the Prem. Top half should be nailed on as long as we can actually score,

All looking pretty positive. Anyone know what injury DD has?

Reading his contract.

I'm bewildered by this too.

Same style of play, we've had the more chances. I think it's been mostly positive to be honest, we've created a few from some fast counters.

Vardy has broke free a couple of times, had one real good chance but didn't finish. Maguire likes to bring the ball out from the back.

Gray hasn't done much, he's getting closed down fast.

Apart from that you haven't missed much!

Had them about a decade ago. Never worked then

what do you mean 'never worked'? What are they meant to do? They're just a bit of half-time entertainment lol

Bring us good luck lol

Better than previous matches. I like how we're playing from the back and not settling for long balls.

It's an improvement, but something is still missing.

Feel as if we could score a few if we pressed high and went for them. Wish we did that more often.

Not feeling the Ndidi vibe, he's had a couple of wild shots and all of a sudden he's player of the year candidate

0-0.

Chances at both ends.

Looking solid with Mahrez, Drinkwater and Kelechi not even starting.

Think most of the Prem are better than this lot to be honest. Just feel that we rush the counter attack and it always ends with an attempt to feed Vardy behind the opposition defence.

They've carved us open a couple of times, which is worrying. Gray has been very poor. Okazaki is showing why he's important to the team.

I don't think grey has been poor, nor has he been excellent.  I think he has shown flashes of great potential.  It's tough because everyone complains he and other young talent don't get time and first team opportunities, but when they do, they expect the finished product and criticize the player.  I think he needs to be given lots of games where all we expect is application, potential displayed and increasing improvement over a long period.  Patience is key if these youngsters are to succeed and make the step up.  (Not a criticism of you Webbo, just a general observation)  Gray didn't set the game on fire... but poor is harsh.
