Leicester City vs. Borussia Mönchengladbach

Maguire is class. Love the way he plays it out from the back, quick too!  Compliments Morgan quite well, will be even more solid alongside Huth I reckon.

James has played some decent passes as well. He really is looking sharp. N'didi still yet to get to full speed, but it'll come.

Hope Kalechi comes on second half, want to see if him and Vardy work together.

Wonder if I can get odds on Ndidi scoring 3 or more times from outside the box. or maybe 5 or more goals in the season. Loves a shot that man.

I think I've said it before but he is gonna be our top man this season.

Absolute baller.

Ndidi looks improved on the ball.

Totally agree. I could see us making Iborra the holding mid so he can roam forwards. He's got that Viera / Toure style of being able to bring the ball 20-30 yards forwards effortlessly ability. Or at least it looks like he can develop that way.

On the free wifi at the ground.

Ndidi is gonna be a beast for us this season. Albrighton and Vardy looking sharp. Maguire is great.

Gray needs to step up.

Decent game!

Was James playing?

I'm interested to see what he brings... just wish we'd stop just going down flanks, there are other ways of player and that in turn makes more space wide... we're too predictable on the ball

Maguire isn't quick.

He looks it in a pre-season friendly against Stindl and Rafael though. Neither known for their pace.

The team is engaged and playing hard.

Ndidi a real all-rounder.  Vardy, some gorgeous stuff.  Let’s get Mahrenacho on and leave them on for 30 minutes with and see what could be (or could have been…)

Fuchs and Gray yet to engage their brains (which also took Kasper 15 minutes tbf), but Gray at least looks dangerous in headless chicken mode.

James looking no more an answer at this level than King.

Like Kante, he just goes out and gives his all. No show boating, just honest endeavour and dedication. Top player.

why dont they ever pass through the middle? Matty James was in loads of space centrally a few times but ignored

I saw James bracketed a lot when we tried to bring it out, though perhaps you mean elsewhere in the field, or saw something I missed. Beginning of the build-up from the back, I thought they were begging us to try that pass.

Simpson looks like he's put on a bit of timber and lost a bit of pace to me...

Gonna be a long hard season on this evidence. Wish the team would spend as much time on keeping better possession in transition as they obviously do on working on shape without the ball.

WHEN DID WE GET CHEERLEADERS!?

You didn't.  That's the Dallas Cowboys "C" team cheerleaders .

Had them about a decade ago. Never worked then

Fair enough. I've only really seen him these few games in pre season and I guess I'm not used to seeing any pace at the back normally ?

Just noticed a lot of people saying James has been poor and N'didi excellent. Not sure if I'm dreaming the game I'm watching. Haha.

Disappointed with Gray! Take your chance sunshine! Barely touched the ball.
