Bale's interview was refreshing....sounds like he literally cant wait to leave

He's Welsh though. I would never have thought a modest Welsh footballer could produce such a fantastic goal. He's humble and so down to earth. No pretensions, no boasting, not bigging himself up. F off Harry Kane

Doesn't make him any less anonymous. He contributed nothing. He must have been reasonably fit to have been on the bench.

So why make him sub? Surely he shouldn't have been in the squad?

If Bale is to leave, just hope Mourinho doesn't buy him - as his playing style that has served him excellently tonight will probably be diminished quickly and turn him into an average player.

But does his playing style suit Real? If it did surely he'd be a starter not a sub? I think he's better suited to Man City, fast, attacking front-mid player who can hold off until the right moment. He's more Ronaldo than Ronaldo is

Not sure he wants to go to the pressure cooker of Old Trafford.

Would he rise to the occasion or is he just a bit of a tart?

Not sure he'd last long, United have a high turnover of players.

Jordan Henderson was very measured and professional in his interview. Seems intelligent and a possible leader

Anyone other than Theresa May-be. At least we'd get free total football coverage forever

Bale has been imminently about to leave Madrid since he arrived. It'd rubbish.

Perez loves him and he's just scored a match winning brace in a champions league final.
