I’d be furious with Karius if I were a Liverpool fan and would be asking why that position hasn’t really been strengthened for years now. You’ve got two average keepers in Mignolet and Karius who are both prone to errors.

Losing Salah killed the game for Liverpool. Sad that such a talent was taken out of the game. His movement is just superb and he was dragging the Real CBs all over the place. Lallana just doesn't offer the same mobility or intelligence. The difference in quality on the bench was massive in the end.

Liverpool could have spent a fraction of the Coutinho money on a vaguely competent keeper.  

 

Keeper has been an Achilles heel for them for ages.
