Really should be looking at winning these games, there was no quality out there, and they looked the better side, and more likely to score, everything we didn't look like doing, and we scraped a point, if people are happy with that showing, they are easily pleased
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 16 September 2017 Posted 16 September 2017 Crap. Really fvcking crap. This season is going to be rubbish. That goals to game ratio that Iheanacho was lauded for is gonna disappear playing for us.

You compare running at full speed with a defender breathing on your neck and still having to beat the keeper in a difficult angle to a tap in and you accuse him of diving when the defender clearly gave him a push in the back. Are you for real? Where did the defender clearly give him a push in the back because I didn't see that at all. It was a clear dive on the replays. You could tell from his appealing the extra steps before he went down and the lack of contact. We don't have to overlook vile antics and cheating just because he's our player. Especially given the situation where it was hugely detrimental to us.

Paul Merson makes as much sense as a skylight in a submarine.

Vardy missed an absolute sitter after some very clever play from Mahrez... and you can hardly blame Slimani for doing nothing in the whole 10 mins he was on the pitch... At the time i thought it was a bad sub but now it was the right choice to make, even if only for the reason of fresh legs on the pitch.
Mr Weller Posted 16 September 2017 Posted 16 September 2017 Can't say I think they'll be happy with an away point and neither should they be. Top 6 teams win games like this and we played nothing like that today, not even top 10 sides.

Watch the replay again, the defender pushed him with the right hand. Classic and efficient. The referee couldn't see it. Not as detrimental as Vardy missing the tap in, eh? If you want to slate the players, then you should begin with the most obvious.
DatfoxesKid23 Posted 16 September 2017 Posted 16 September 2017 Shakespeare is to blame since the season started we haven't had a actual game plan just running around everywhere against arsenal then against man u and Chelsea trying to be the next west brom with a 10 man wall then today absolutely nothing Shakespeare needs a tactical plan
baldeagle Posted 16 September 2017 Posted 16 September 2017 So I'm in Ibiza and can't read all of this thread and not seen the game but apart from being not the best of games how did Nacho play in general
Mr Weller Posted 16 September 2017 Posted 16 September 2017 Slimani isn't up to it and I wouldn't keep persisting with him. We need confident players or those with a point to prove.

Mr Weller Posted 16 September 2017 Posted 16 September 2017 I would persist with Nacho though. He's obviously very good and we need more than just the Vardy threat

There's a clear difference between someone missing a chance and someone actively trying to cheat rather than just shooting. One is accidental, the other isn't.
Scotch Posted 16 September 2017 Posted 16 September 2017 We are worryingly bad in the middle of the park just now. No creativity whatsoever! All teams have to do to stop us scoring is defend deep to prevent Vardy running in behind and double up on Mahrez, that's it. Job done. The worst thing about our CM at the moment is they can't even keep the ball, it's no wonder out defence just by passes them. Not being able to create is one thing as a CM but at least don't turn over possession every time you touch the ball!

We were barely in their half the first game. When he was attacking he looked alright. Feel a bit sorry for him, our team is absolutely shit at providing service. He goes from Silva and KDB to ****ing King and Albrighton.

I suggested you to watch the replay, you didn't. The guy is running at full speed, there is a push, the guy falls. You decided to ignore that and settled for a dive.
