Huddersfield Away 1-1 post match

****ing hell, slaphead Danny Mills and Keown stating all the refeering decisions went our way despite the Gray chance at the end adding the cliche of 'small teams dont get the decisions'.

Even the guys on the Huddersfield forum believe the decisions were evened out.

Neither Nacho or Vardy did much but just look at the service to them.

I honestly CAN'T believe I'm still having to rattle on about service to our strikers. We've had ZERO decent service to anyone up front in our team for ****ing ages - since Kante left.

We have zero creativity apart from a horrendously over-marked Mahrez.

I literally feel like giving up on going to watch this team until someone pays some decent money and sorts our abysmal midfield out.

We are so one dimensional it hurts - if Shakespeare, Rudkin, WHOEVER can't see it then set the lot on fire and start again.

It's pathetic.

This, this, THIS and more this.

You ask anyone now - 'how do Leicester play?' - I'll be ****ed if anyone can give you a decent answer.

Even someone in this thread just said 'Huddersfield are tough to break down, well drilled, etc.'

There is nothing that can be said about the way we play football (do we even play football now?), is there... really?

And fine, there's people on here happy to watch such unidentifiable mediocrity and put it down to this/that but at the end of the day - we have lost our identity and don't look like getting it back any time soon.

Different user name..

...but the same old Daz lol

For those who think they are morally superior on here by calling other posters moaners etc, I think you'll find the general concensuss is that an away point is fine in this league regardless of who you play, but the manor of our play, the subs made and that bloody 442 game in game out is what is causing a lot of concern.

Yes im sick of the way we are playing, yes it may come good but I'll exercise my right to critise what has been a poor start to the season.

Your posts are usually quite balanced and I really don't get this one. We can talk about the subs and you still can admit that he didn't have that much of options today, don't you?

He did have options though,  just in my opinion, the main one being that after 4 games,  at the moment, with who we have available in midfield, he should recognise that we're not strong enough to play a 442 and the same tactics over and over again. Therefore alter the formation to something more comensurate with the players we have available. He's just commented that he didn't think our midfield was overrun?

Tried desperately to stay awake, fell asleep, woke up and it was 1-1. Fell asleep again. Garbage.

The 10 minutes you were asleep had 7 missed penalties and 4 sendings off. Other 80 minutes were dire though.

I'd just love to see us be able to string a few passes together and knock the ball about a bit, we cannot make more than 3 passes before hoofing it up pitch or losing it...

Precisely. Therein lies the problem.

We had people saying how we fare at Huddersfield will show us where we really are after our tough start.

Well now we know, not as good as Huddersfield!

If he isn't up to speed with the PL, Iborra needs to come on as a sub at some point so he can gain he experience. Was CS too cautious, worried that bringing him on for the experienced King would mean we'd lose? Probably. And I understand that.

But all games are tough, and I'd rather we brought in Iborra sooner than later.

I'm sure I'll get accused of something here, but seriously?

Demarai Gray has an absolute tap-in in the 90th minute to win the game and decides to dive and fall over when he's through on goal and getting there before the keeper.

What an an absolute twatish thing to do!

Absolute tap-in?

I'll accuse you of being blind... He was on the right-hand side of the box... Not in front of an empty goal.

4-4-2 is fine at home, but we need to try something different away from home. 4-3-3 and Iborra. We will be fine.

We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be....

Trump is the cost............or are you referring to our island?

Anyone pissed off should tune into sky sports news and watch Merson pronouncing every players name incorrectly. I swear he wouldn't say Ian Smith correctly.

Metaphor.  Leicester is the island.  Long may we stand!

I don't really think it was bad tactics today. We were lacking confidence after losing 3 out of 4 and yet knew we were expected to win.

This means we were playing with a bit of pressure and it showed. In contrast they have kept up their momentum and were very confident.

We need a good win and a settled midfield and Shakespeare has to exude confidence himself to get our self-belief back. He sounded a bit defensive today and that won't help.

A potentially dangerous time and a real test of his management skills.

Mediocre performance but lets give some credit to Huddersfield. Their pressing and energy reminded me of us. They're going to give much better teams then us problems, so a draw is not a bad result.
