Drift Posted 26 September 2017 Posted 26 September 2017 You want the Huth? You can't handle the Huth.
Bert Posted 26 September 2017 Posted 26 September 2017 People saying Morgan should be dropped even though he's currently outperforming Maguire. #foxestalklogic
Wymsey Posted 26 September 2017 Posted 26 September 2017 Forgotten somewhat about him. Either because the partnership between Morgan and Maguire is growing, or we're in desperate need of another young talented CB - not sure really.

Finley Parsons Posted 26 September 2017 Posted 26 September 2017 If we played 3 at the back I would play dragovic, maguire, armartey

Wes has definitely made less errors that led to chances than Maguire so far this season. I think they've both had good starts in general to the season and been 2 of our better players and certainly agree it's a long way from being "knee-jerk" to say Morgan has been better, I'd probably agree with you but could also totally understand why someone would think Maguire has been better too.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 26 September 2017 Posted 26 September 2017 By the time the Huth is ready, we should have had a few easier games, to have a better look at where we are at. If the goals against dry up, I would stick with the current 2, but if we keep leaking there is a choice to be made. It would be hard to watch us go back to hoofball, but results need improve sharp-ish. I think both Wes and Huth would (in theory) actually prefer to play with a more expansive CB as it takes the pressure off of them to play killer passes, and allows them to play to their strengths. I had Maguire and one from Huth/Morgan for this season, and a few errors while Maguire is settling in isn't going to change that, as long as it is only a few.

The less they have played the better they are remember. I genuinely cant believe people are saying Huth should be 4th choice. The overhyping of Maguire based upon two good performances was a bit cringe. Probably an idea not to go from calling players future England captains to casting our experiences pros on the rubbish dump at the earliest opportunity.
Wizerud Posted 27 September 2017 Posted 27 September 2017 I'd have Huth and Maguire if we continue with a two, even though Morgan has been playing, since the Man U game at least, as well as I've seen since our title-winning season. I'd continue with two at the back until we've played 10-15 games. Let's see where we are once we've played everyone once. At least we haven't lost to any team we shouldn't have lost to.

dylanlegend Posted 27 September 2017 Posted 27 September 2017 Whenever I see Huth on the teamsheet I just feel a lot more confident that we will win, if fit he must play

He has proven to be more solid than Morgan in my personal opinion. And he seems to bring out more from his CB partner than Morgan does. In no way am I slagging Morgan, he will always be a Leicester legend but with a full squad I would probably go with Huth and Maguire right now, as harsh as that is on Morgan. X

st albans fox Posted 27 September 2017 Posted 27 September 2017 there is no doubt that morgan's form has improved recently. he was playing poorly so that may not say too much but he has improved. is that to do with having concerns that his place is under threat ??

Following a reduction in his servicing duties off the pitch, he for sure has more energy.
