Tuna Posted 14 December 2017 Posted 14 December 2017 6 million for and England under 21 would be a good deal.

If man city don't want him or just drive up the price for us. Think its just paper talk though ex man u trainee to leicester. Not hard to see the link in it. Old news as well.
Jaspa Posted 14 December 2017 Posted 14 December 2017 (edited) Video really doesn't impress me, he's quite stumpy and lacks some agility for a 21 year old winger. Technically he stands out at that level but that doesn't really mean much. Never for that much and if so, dev squad surely Edited 14 December 2017 by SpazticChicken
dooflip Posted 17 December 2017 Posted 17 December 2017 Everyone’s YouTube best bits compilations make them look like worldies, but sod it. Gerrimin, gerremallbloodyin! regardless of whether mahrez goes or not we really could do with another option out wide only having 3 recognised wide men in gray, albrighton and mahrez. i would say 6million for a young lad with potential who wouldn’t expect to play every game is good business. With Ben arfa looking like the obvious ready made mahrez replacement, and not getting any younger, a move like this would seem fairly wise imo.
Lovejoy Posted 19 December 2017 Posted 19 December 2017 To those who've seen more of him than me, would he be any better than the (seemingly) promising youth we have coming through?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 20 December 2017 Posted 20 December 2017 Get this kid in ASAP if at all possible - there’s something about him, I sense he could very quickly become a legend here.
tom27111 Posted 21 December 2017 Posted 21 December 2017 Would love him here, can't really see it happening as he's at Man City's sister club and the MLS are notorious to deal with. Great player though, watched him a few times, seems less of a winger and more a Frank Lampard type ghosting into the box. Bags of potential.
Harry S Posted 29 December 2017 Posted 29 December 2017 If he was any decent wouldnt man city be interested as its their other club ?
Brainy Posted 29 December 2017 Posted 29 December 2017 Man City can go after the best players in the world, we can't.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 Looks like Stoke are in for him for a few million quid and the murmurings seem to be that it's about done, he's from around there I think.
yorkie1999 Posted 23 January 2018 Posted 23 January 2018 Wonder how he'll get on against defenders that actually get in the way 1

Brainy Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 Its amusing that Stoke are put off by the 5m price tag because he has no PL experience. Bet they wouldn't give a **** if his name was Jacques Herrera(son). I see they're hoping to sign some guy from the Turkish league for 3x as much instead.
FrankieADZ Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 meant to be going on loan to Boro from what sky are saying

I did say once it's a project... A bit like us it would probably do them more harm than good to get promoted instantly after the investment! I do think as soon as they're up though they will essentially become our academy/work permit farm. 1

It's a tough lsituation in Belgium and they are probably their own worst enemy when it comes to growing their own football brand and i believe stifles their own growth and could be an answer as to why all their best players leave. Even the top team in the second ( B) division isn't guaranteed promotion - they enter a play off, presumably with the bottom team of the top division. So it actually sounds really difficult to get relegated so therefor difficult to get promoted too.- i can only imagine this makes it difficult to encourage investment in the team for any other reason than what you mentioned - to take advantage of the slightly easier immigration laws/ work permits. How brexit then effects that and potential incoming players from Belgium will be interesting too... Edited 30 January 2018 by MPH
Jordan Posted 30 January 2018 Posted 30 January 2018 (edited) Most of the chatter over the past few days is that Man City will bring him in and sent him to Middlesbrough. I've read the move to Boro will be anywhere from a loan to a transfer for £6-9m, but I'm guessing it will be a loan with an option to buy. Either way, there will be a lot of similarities between this deal and how Aaron Mooy moved from Melbourne City to Man City and then to Huddersfield. FWIW, I'm a big fan of Harrison, but I really think a Championship team makes more sense for him right now. He's got great technical abilities, but his play as an inverted winger can be one-dimensional, and he went through a little bit of a slump that may be down to fatigue. Catching all the way up to the pace of the Premier League this year would be quite an ask. I'd take him with an eye more towards the future, but wouldn't consider him a player that can come in to the Premier League and make an immediate impact. Edited 30 January 2018 by Jordan
