He ain't going to the world cup in this form.

He definitely will. Once you're well and truly in, like he is, it's virtually impossible to get dropped.

One of the many problems with our national setup.

And our country in general....failure is rewarded.

50 Premier League goals for Vardy. 21 of them against the top 6.

6 against Liverpool

5 against Arsenal

3 against Man City

3 against Man Utd

2 against Spurs

2 against Chelsea

Truly a big game player.

I think it's probably more to do with the fact that the bigger teams don't defend as deep so there is space for him to run in behind more so that the 'lesser' teams who defend deep.

Congrats to him on 50 however. Great achievement!

He's such an intelligent footballer, he doesn't get the credit he deserves fr9m outside of Leicester. The amount of people I hear talk about how all he has is pace is astonishing. So much more to his game than that. It's a pleasure to watch him play every week it really is.

I would say that he could become Leicesters greatest player of all time.

I use to think Walshie was but vardy had eclipsed that. Legend of the highest order and our greatest ever player for sure.

Already is for me. He’s given me some of my best memories of supporting Leicester. Used to be Muzzy or Walsh

Obviously Riyad is the most naturally gifted

a lot of people rate him (atleast on twitter lol ), he is a dying breed of the english "sharp knife" strikers, preforms vs the big clubs, trolls other team's fans and didn't have the lights on him at a young age.

honestly, you get spoiled by vardy, when i'm watching a non-leicester match i think "hey, why isn't the striker running himself to the ground, vardy would....oh!"

his pace is definitely an important element to his game, but his finishing is underrated

I think some people let their perception of him as a person (chavvy, aggressive ect) cloud their idea of him as a footballer. He's criminally under rated really.

same with simmo, you have the feeling that some people still holding his past mistakes against him. for me, him being a chav is part of him, what makes him "vardy". when he is winding up other fans and taunting them, you know it's not an act lol

The reverse shot of his goal shows him exclaiming 'yes' as he realises he's scored, his commitment and drive is so evident still. I believe he's becoming a better player now, and in the end it may benefit England.

Agreed. Simpson is hands down the most under rated player at the club. Defensively he's brilliant, hes so good at stopping crosses and getting his head on it at the back post. If he could just add an attacking element he'd be the perfect right back.

Vardys best celebrations are reserved for West Brom I'm sure ? love him standing in the same spot 2 years in a row winding up the same idiots. He thrives on that
