My one hope is that CSKA never sold to us in the January window of two years a go so they must rate him otherwise they couldn't sell him quick enough for the money we paid. Somehow we sold him for £12m trims the strikers further. Benny and King (i actually want to see him play week in week out) out on loan next. We were totally mugged off with Slimani too. And Mendy. We've made some superb signings over recent years, but we've also made some fookin awful ones too.

Come on expected better from you col , neither are that bad, not really given a chance, none of the strikers can dislodge vardy, and the role Okazaki plays doesn’t suit him, and mendy snapped his ankle early in his time here, struggled with it on the come back, and then went back under the knife, so for one reason or another it’s not worked here for them. Slimani will rip it up elsewhere, and mendy was highly rated before the injury, so could make it elsewhere. For me it’s poor management and recruitment, yes we were mugged off in the price and wages, but neither issue are the players fault, just poor negotiating to pay over there market value, and paying high wages. No player that plays every now and again is going to get form or confidence, but again poor management to have 6 highly priced strikers for two positions, and players all brought in for regular football. It’s took a manager not a coach to identify the in balance in the squad, and the problems that comes with players being unhappy not playing, and is starting moving players on, or at least telling them they can find new clubs. Well that’s my take on it col 2
