Naive lol nothing to do with the player, to do the club doing the best to recoup as much as they can, rather than your attitude of giving players away for nothing.

Loan him get all/ or the majority of his wages covered till summer, if he hits form flog him for 8-9 million, or just throw give him away now and lose millions.

Ok he might be shit on loan, and he might go for next to nothing, but surely it’s in the clubs financial interest to get as much as they can

Cska are rumoured to be offering £4.5m was what led to this conversation. Who do you know of that wants to loan him?

I’m just a lowly supporter and not itk, but I’m sure his agent and the club are working on something if he wants to leave.

There have been rumours of championship sides interested like hull, but we haven’t got a clue who’s after our players, because quite rightly most of its done discretely, with the exception of those leaks, probably from agents.

The championship is probably the level he needs to build from.

Musa going on loan to CSKA? They've right had our pants down but I'm happy to see someone else pick his wages up. Hopefully he rips the Russian league a new one but I won't hold my breath.

I know but The Mercury have a direct quote from his agent when other news sources have reported what the Nigerian manager has said so I think this is new and genuine information. "Very high" should mean as good as a done deal.

The talks were confirmed by 25-year-old Musa’s agent Tony Harris, who said: “'Negotiations with Leicester continue and go in a positive light. Most likely, Ahmed will go on loan to CSKA in this transfer window. The chances for this are very high.''

He’s not as poor as some are making out, needs games to find form and confidence,  a loan or permanent move away would be best, as he won’t find form or confidence as he won’t get a regular run.

Based on performances for our team (aside from his pre season game against Barca, which was clearly a fluke), how can you seriously claim he’s not very poor?

We have to base this assessment on his performances overall: not 30 seconds withn ‘this game and that game’ where he has scored a goal.

It’s been a shocking piece of business; while he is draining our clubs resources we can’t get anyone better.

Ffs offload the twat.

11 ‘likes’ you had for that post!

Just shows how people on here jump on the positive spin as opposed to dealing with reality ?

Let’s hope for all concerned that this gets done

There is absolutely no doubt that this club has wanted to get shot of musa for a long time. What is very disturbing is that we have found absolutely nobody who wants him at all.

Mitrovic at Newcastle finds himself in a similar predicament to Musa. He had limited game time in the Championship and has 89mins this season all as a sub in the PL this season but Newcastle still knocked back an £8m bid this week for a player who can't get in a poor side.

If only we had the luxury of getting half our money back on a player that never plays and is a terrible buy.

If we could sell musa what do you think we could seriously ask for him? 6 mil tops

£6m tops sounds about right, I personally think the club would seriously consider letting him go on a free if we didn't have to pay part of his wages after leaving.

Having a medical at CSKA Moscow - loan deal.

Got a link?

Whilst I'm glad he's off even if it's temporary it sticks in the throat a bit that 18 months after paying £17m for him he returns to his previous club on loan.

I doubt they'll be paying a loan fee but just covering his wages. Hopefully he does really well and has a superb World Cup and we get a fee for him in the summer.

Sad that it hasn't worked out but Diabete's display today means there's no way back for him.

Hope he recovers a la kramaric but it's gonna be tough for him.
