It was never a red card, the bias against clubs people dont like is pathetic. It was a whole hearted challenge and a yellow (which the referee had out in the first place), was perfectly adequate.

If you were the Wigan manager and you spotted Pep losing his cool, it would be time for a "tu madre" or "hijo de puta" and a rude hand gesture.

Get Pep sent off, too.

Nominative determinism at it's best.

Don't know how anyone can argue with a red card.

He's slid in out of control with his studs showing and caught the player!

Pep is a real classless cock with his reaction after what he's said lately about challenges being punished.

Pep can fvck off with his comments (and reaction in the tunnel there) about protecting his players. Can't go around moaning about that and then your own players making tackles like Delph did!

I had some new glasses from Specsavers two weeks ago. Not exactly cheap, but great service and can see better than ever. Give 'em a try.

Notice no one brought up the rochdale players clobbering the spurs players did they? Funny that

Look back, I did. Proves how poor Madley was when Winks got chopped, not even a booking

Shearer is such a twat. That is a blatant red. He called it wrong and now he just won’t baxk down. Sad.

Never understood Shearer! The guy baffles me. I guarantee to you in a few weeks time he'll be calling for a red card for something way less dangerous.

Somethings wrong with the guy!

Im glad at least one person here is capable of judging incidents on their merit

Rochdale did not put in one challenge anywhere as bad as that and you know it.

It was clearly a straight red. Stop trying to be controversial for attention, it's a bit sad.

Yet Joe Bennett didn't get a straight red for his tackle on Sane. It's the inconsistency that's infuriating.

Pep's fortunate Cooky didn't drop him in the tunnel.

Again it is just way too easy to imagine the uproar if the poor little underdog received a red card like that.

Everyone else is. It was a red card. As it should be if any other player does that. It's a really bad tackle.

Their centre back smashed Winks on the centre spot 25 minutes in. Madley gave him a quiet word, Winks thankfully got up quickly.

It would be hillarious

"Refs influenced by pep".... "big club bias"..... "cant have little wigan in the quarter finals can we".... "owen took bribes to rig the draw"

I think a red is harsh. I understand why it was given, but I think a yellow would of been sufficient.

I didn't like either set of players surrounding the ref.

So when winks got blatantly kicked that was alright then? Course it was.

And so was that cardiff thug trying to cripple sane? Yeah that was fine too because man city are a big team so **** it, kicking people is allowed.

Whats sad is your inferiority complex that you just cant stand a team being successful and sit watching a game desperate for them to lose or a decision go against them.
