He's rapid and very direct too, plus he constantly looks for a better placed attacker on breaks.

I however fear Watford would demand a fee exceeding £50m, they certainly aren't push overs after our attempts of gaining Deeney

This will be the hardest player from our premier league winning team to replace.

Ziyech or Ben Afra for me, and even then not sure either will fill the gap.

Dembele from Celtic wouldn't be a bad option.

A striker to replace not only a winger but probably the best winger we've ever had? And not just ANY striker but one who can' Cement himself as Celtics first choice striker......

If he's sold you'd imagine the fee will at least start with '6' and Ben Arfa will come in on loan most probably. Short term option to see if he'd fit and a direct position replacement.  No throwing money at anybody with an hour to spare - won't happen and rightly so.

I personally think we need to get someone in. We need a match winner as we could well be losing one. And hi with an extra spot available in Europe there’s a lot to play for, with massive financial rewards if we can manage to qualify. Makes sense to bring some quality in.

granted the new lad could well be the replacement, but we haven’t seen him against quality opposition so it’s hard to judge.

Mate in which world do you live? Who do you think will come if he goes with 24 hours left? Proven match winners don't grow on trees nor they come to us.

Quincy Promes. Available, for £30 million. Adds quality. Only fear is our last signing from a Russian club was a real disapointment.

Promes is different quality to Musa. 2 complete different types of players!

Snodgrass  from Villa...just seen his 90th minute winner for Villa at Sheffield Utd...truly a Mahrezesque goal. Cut in from rigHt wing and curled a super left footer into the corner of the net...???

He can play as a number 10, and with the options we have for wingers, along with Puel's system I'm not so sure we necessarily have to buy a like for like replacement. The lad definitely has talent, has Champions League experience, and clearly has a bright future ahead. He's also at a good age to develop in line with our current crop of emerging youngsters. Furthermore, he'd be an attainable target who would cost significantly less than any fee we receive from Mahrez so would be decent value for money in today's market. Certainly not the finished article by any stretch but realistically we're not going to be able to recruit a player of Riyad's ability no matter how much we spend.

Zaha. No other player mentioned on here that tops his form. No chance rudkin would be able to pull that off though

Zaha has 4 goals and 2 assists this season. That is quite frankly bang average.

Albrighton has 2 goals and 6 assists and he’s basically a full back ffs.

Fair comment.

We won't be able to replace him straight away. Riyad himself took years to reach consistent form. Patience is needed.

Gonna be gutted if we lose Riyad with no time to find an adequate replacement, Gray is gonna have to really step up if we are aiming for Europa and a cup run.
