Long Eaton Fox Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 What a fantastic footballer we have in the squad. He's ambitious yes and some of his decisions are suspect but no money can replace him. Lets give him the benefit of the doubt and support him when he eventually returns. We may never see a talent like him again. 1

jayfox26 Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 I want more threads on Mahrez. Not enough for my liking at the moment. 1
Redouane Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 Congratulations on making the 1 millionth Mahrez post on FT this week
urban.spaceman Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 Relax! He's probably hiding in a bush at the end of the street with the mardies. He'll come back when he's ready. Probably about tea time.
Tuna Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 Come on, why create another Mahrez thread. Really? This could easily be posted in one of the other 500,000 Mahrez threads. What next a thread moaning about the amount of Mahrez threads, perhaps?
Guest the fox Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 i have complained about those other mahrez threads but this one could actual be a good discussion about if the fans want him back (and will accept him) or are they done with him
Almo-Fox Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 I think that the absence of mahrez will do more damage than a hurricane Hope Leicester got a positive result from today match as Everton play arsenal and burnley play man city Oh mahrez look what you have done There was a hint in puel s answer to keep the details of mahrez affair snide the club May be The owners will agree to add a release clause to his contract and close the case Leiester needs mahrez and mahrez needs Leicester 1

L Blocker Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 I want him gone, never to wear the shirt again - We all want different things
420Hashish Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 (edited) http://www.givemesport.com/1249441-robbie-savage-is-being-blasted-on-twitter-for-his-thoughts-about-wantaway-riyad-mahrez?autoplay=on My eyes hurt me from this article. Apparently Mahrez is Moroccan. Edited 3 February 2018 by DrezZone
nnfox Posted 3 February 2018 Posted 3 February 2018 How the fans treat him is now up to Mahrez himself. He needs to sort his head out and make a public statement. If he says "The owners and the club have let me down. I have given everything to this club, they stabbed me in the back, i don't want to play anymore." Then I don't think there will be a way back from the fans. If he says "I'm very disappointed that I didn't get the transfer and have been angry with the owners and the club. I have sat down with the owners, manager, players and staff, i understand the reasons why the transfer didn't happen and realise my behaviour has fallen short of the high standards expected of an elite footballer. I have apologised to everyone at the club and now extend that apology to the brilliant Leicester fans. I want to reassure them that I am 100% focused on helping Leicester City achieve as strong a finish to this season as possible." Then the fans will forgive him, i'm sure. If he does return without issuing a statement then I think he'll get a hard time for a while, but if he plays at his best, he'll be forgiven by the fans in a few weeks.
