TTL has had the Stay Puft salted caramel on again this weekend apparently, lovely stuff.

I’m meant to be having a month off after sleeping in my own vomit on a bathroom floor in Athens last weekend lol. Ended up having a couple in Black Horse Aylestone on Friday after being bullied at work though.

I had a can of that Stay Puft salted caramel, unreal mate. 9%?!

Nah I don’t think that’s 9%, that’s the Imperial one but doesn’t come in cans I don’t think.

Just remembered we are meant to be going to Magic Rock before Huddersfield.

As per so many craft beer breweries once they hit the top of their 'organic' level, sadly sold out last week to a big Australian brewery.

Same with anything I guess, you can’t blame them for selling it they made mega dollar.

Mate. Salted caramel Porter from tiny rebel on tap in the two tailed lion tonight, incredible.

As an aside, first taste of Tonnne and I thought it was ****ing whack. Bland as **** and full of recruitment consultants.

That's a shame. Wanted to check out tonne but I hate recruiters.

Had a great stout at the Wetherspoons real ale festival

I went and bought some cans of it for the trip to Huddersfield tomorrow. On the 9%er at half 10, nice.

Tonne is alright but 2TL is much much better in my opinion.

Went to Leeds before getting train to Huddersfield. Had some lovely session IPAs and pale ales. Good argument to say Leeds is the best craft beer pub city.  I can name six really, really good places to drink.

Went to North Tap - which is about ten mins from station (the bigger North Bar is about fifteen to twenty from station) and then onto Northern Monk’s taproom - this was excellent - and it’s actually on the way to Elland Road as well.

Magic Rock’s options on Saturday were disappointing but found a good little place called Arcade Beers nearby the station before train back

Wasn't too impressed by arcade. Found a great pub opposite where most of the city fans were and had the best Sierra Nevada I've had in a while.

real shame that tapped seems to have let itself go over the last 6 months or so. they ales are still pretty decent and interesting but the gaff stinks and is always dirty and full of weird looking people.

I didn't notice really, but my mate lives in Leeds and he had the same sort of thoughts.

What’s the craft beer place called on Queens road? Walked down there the other day and it looks really decent.

Queens road tap? It’s alright in there, small but decent selection of beers but I like the aesthetics of the gaff

That’s the one, it looked really nice. Was thinking about popping in before the match on Friday.

Queens Road Tap is ok, some good gear in there. Not a fan of the no music rule but good for the area though, different to the rest of the bars down there.
