Was always luck  of the draw in LIDL in all, sometimes you could stroll in and they'd have some absurd beers at low low prices. Picked up a load of Golden Draak, Piraat and Bornem once at next to nothing

And your wife drank the lot?

Tried a few more last night. Couple of Bavarian Hells stood out - Ayinger and Spaten.

Also tried Viru from Estonia. Nice flavour, tasted a bit of banana.

Astra Rotlicht and Löwenbrau in the first half. Now a nice relaxing (hopefully) Hofbrau for the second.

Hahaha relaxing yeah? Those clowns can add "my pint" to the things they've ruined tonight.

Some good'uns so far tonight:

Hacker & Pschorr Kellerbier: Nice Munich beer.

St Peter's Revival Pilsner: Same crisp flavour you get from their ales. Would like to try it on tap.

She wasn't super boozy like the Dessert in a Cans of this world but boy was she tasty, I thought she was gonna bank a measly £1,000 on the cash-builder round of popular primetime itv quiz show The Chase she was that thick

Surprise find of this evening is 1936 from Switzerland.

Never had the Swiss down as a decent beer-producing nation, but this pilsner was far from neutral when it comes to flavour.

Any new PD kegs on the go @Unabomber

Tripel Karmiliet, Leffe and Cerveza La Virgen arrived yesterday. Got them 3 as were part of the multi buy deal but really the main one I’ve been waiting to have in the keg is the karmiliet. I have stuck it in today for Saturday.

Maltsmiths IPA at the Dovecote in Narborough.

The Doombar needed changing so went for the alternative. Quite a decent pint.
