Top four are from clubs relegated that summer.

Also, Spurs have a penchant for wasting money.

That Darren Bent one is a shocker considering it's 10 years ago, that's £65m in today's money.

Until we blow £50m on Grealish

Let's pray that this means that we're not going to do that. If we're only paying £22 million or so, that'll leave us plenty of Mahrez money, even after we've paid for Pereira.

Hmmmmmm. Very, very nervous about this one. That is so much money to pay for a player that *might* be good. That's almost the same price we have paid Porto for one of the most coveted full-backs in Europe with Champions League and International experience and who has played in teams that have finished in the top 4 in both France and Portugal.

I'm not saying he will be a flop or that I am unhappy with the transfer... but this summer is massive for the club. Get the signings wrong and we are going to have a tough, tough season.

If he is coming in I really hope he turns out to be brilliant.

His Instagram story from 4 hours ago suggests he's back in the gym at Norwich?

Looked to be on holiday 2 days ago

Well as a Norwich player, I would hope that he's in the club's facilities. He's certainly not a LCFC player, yet.

Only players to have more than 100 key passes in Europe this season:

Hakim Ziyech (143)

Dimitri Payet (125)

James Maddison (124)

Zinedine Ferhat (120)

Luke Freeman (113)

Kevin De Bruyne (111)

Also in Championship Team of the Season (no Grealish)

£22m about £5m overpriced IMO, even in this climate, but probably paid extra to get it done quickly, which is understandable.

I’d bet that it’s £17m with £5m add-ons
