Me too. Damn annoying when you don't know why you were banned. Following the evidence - given that I copied your technique of putting an "X" at the end of my posts I'm going with the theory we were banned for "X"ing and I'm not going to show any more love in order to be able to stay around here. O

I like your thinking.  I might try something completely new and experimental at the end of my posts.  Yeah I think the not knowing is the worst.  I know I like to post the odd silly thing now and then but if anything I ever posted was genuinely offensive to someone I would like to be told not just banned for no reason and with no explanation.  If I am wrong I am always happy to admit it but literally nothing I posted yesterday was in anyway offensive in its INTENT, all I can assume is that someone took something the wrong way.  I am all for free speech in these matters, ideas you do not agree with should be challenged not silenced.  I have been suspended a couple of times and asked on each occasion for why I was banned with no response.  I assume the mods are jealous of my fine physique and pendulous member?

Yes, on both occasions.  I could not PM this time as the restriction would not let me but I contacted them via the "contact us" bit and nothing. X

 They should reply out of courtesy if nothing else.

Haha.  I don't really know how the process works?  I imagine sometimes certain posts get flagged then if they feel it worthy of a ban they just ban you for a couple of days.  My issue is I certainly said nothing offensive yesterday and if something I did say was taken the wrong way I would have liked the chance to hear the person's grievance and have an actual discussion about it rather than suddenly being banned then given no explanation even when I asked for one.  I understand a moderator is a thankless task and I think on the whole they do a very good job but I do think you should be sent a message before just being banned.  The only post I can think of which may have led to the suspension one yesterday was a joke I made about Maddison pulling a funny face similar to Ricky Gervais when he was the Genie in Extras and I quoted extras.  The whole "joke" in Extras is a send up of lazy homophobic stereotyping but I can only assume that, out of context, someone thought I was just being controversial.  The shame is a simple message and discussion would have resolved the issue and the reason I was annoyed is that I see sexist/racist/homophobic stuff on here most every week and I often challenge it so to just be banned and given no explanation is very offensive.  Anyway, not trying to say I have been treated massively unfairly and I know it is a first world problem but I do find it annoying.  Then again, maybe I did say something truly heinous and deserved a longer ban, in which case, I will see you again in three months.
