Lethargy? how many clubs have done deals thus far? peope are on holiday and international duty. not a good time for medicals or final tweaks on negs! if stuff is agreed between clubs and players/agents then there is no rush (apart from satisfying the impatient nature of fans)

This chairman once had dinner with a former players uncle who had told him who told his chauffeur who told the cashier that the next player we might sign is Johann Cruyff although it has had to be said the info is from 1981 so might not be that helpful now?
