 as much as I like Maguire that's an absolute scandal. Vardy should've won this hands down. 17 goals for a side that doesn't create many clear cut chances against Maguire who, while a great footballer, has made far too many mistakes as a defender.

The presenters are dross. Vardy talking about the West Brom goal to put us 3-1 up during the title winning season with Nathan Dyer on his back and Arlo goes “that was during the great escape wasn’t it?” and totally killed those nostalgic vibes. And then when listing the players going to the World Cup at the end of presenting Harry with the main award, he mentioned Riyad when he’s obviously not going. I bet Riyad will get some stick at the table for that!

Really thought Vardy would walk the fans vote. Thought Ndidi would be the only one that could possibly take it from him.

 

Maguire has been good and quite a revelation in our defence with his runs on the ball and passing (especially compared to our hoofin old boys), but we have conceded some proper soft goals and he got outmuscled by Salah somehow.

 

At least he will know he is appreciated and might stay..

Vards only winning GOTS is a shambles. 

 

But the players and majority of fans alike voted for Maguire so fair play to him. I know I'm critical of him and that's not because I don't rate him I just don't think he's where most think he is right now. Hopefully we can keep hold of him for a while as he is improving with every single game.
