Tottenham can surely have no complaints at all if the likes of Kane and Eriksen want out.

That would be perfect!

I'd love to see them slip away.. Along with Poch.

There maybe a God after all.

The way Liverpool and spurs have failed to close many opportunities out just makes the way we saw out our one big chance all the more remarkable, getting on for 3 years and still sometimes have to check it wasn't just a dream.

Blowing a title they were odds on to win by losing a game they gifted the opening goal away in and throwing a 3-0 lead at Palace away. The manner they lost the Champions League final. Being beaten from behind in the Europa League final. Klopp's a very good manager but his record in finals of late is appalling. 6 defeats on the spin is poor (I get you will like Klopp as you've mentioned you're a Dortmund fan also)

And make no mistake if they don't win the league this year you can add that in too. They were 7 clear at one point.

Poor..lol.  .So what does that make the rest of us...!!!

yes I am a also a BvB fan,yes I like Klopp,but no fanatical-can ,just like you, & like me...when we move firms,we have other challenges,and use our

experiences to advance,or are we always like our kin, then the Nazi-aryean race were right all along!!!  Same-people, same character, nobody nor

no person learn....once poor always poor !!!  plus I don't go on or get into nonsensical fan Phsyco -analyse,of past history.....nothing like immature conspiracy theories hey!!!

Because this silly  theme idea  is reoccurring  heavyily on football forums.....We are all inbred robots, who have no capabilities to develops from our inept ingrown

Characteristics....only football fans themselves have that strength of character,to understand such a  phenomonen

Rabbi Matondo (yep I’ve never heard of him either) is moving to Schalke from Man City for a reported £11.3 million pounds.

It’s quite refreshing to see young British players taking their chance to move abroad to seek first team football. Bundesliga teams know that if they do will the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Man United will probably want to buy them back in a couple of years at 5x the price that they originally sold them for.

@Finnegan I notice he’s a welsh international is he the next Ryan Giggs or the next John Oster?

First I'd heard of him was a bunch of rumours before Christmas that he'd be the latest British player to move to Bundesliga.

It was Dortmund and Leipzig apparently watching him back then.

I've seen a few clips since and he's absolutely terrifyingly fast. Like, forget Leroy Sane and Adama Traore, the kid could almost be a professional sprinter if he bulked up a bit. He shoots off from a standing start like a missile.

Looked raw as all balls though.

I (and I'm sure a lot of others) have long thought this is exactly what we need to take the national side(s) forward, somewhat.

There's a lot of talk about when PL clubs sign foreign players that they have to settle in and 'learn the English/British game' (like we've done with Benkovic, sending him on loan). They have their own football style/culture from their homeland and they develop the other aspects of their game in a different environment. When we come up against them internationally, they're better at matching (and nullifying) our game and can impose their own.

The more youngsters who develop outside of our system, the more well-rounded our national sides become and maybe we'll see a bit more success.

It feels like we're at the start of a cultural shift where young players have wised up to the stockpiling behaviours of clubs like Chelsea/ManCity and are more readily moving away to seek out better opportunities.

I'd have a little wager that if the English lads (not that he is) keep making the moves abroad we might actually win an international trophy. They'll grow up faster, develop quicker and be far better placed to deal with international football. It's about sodding time they grew the balls to do it.

I have a winzy-tinzy feeling...you just might have something against the Spurs...do you also have allergie break-outs..:P

Just fed up with the endless love in and drooling over them.

They play alright football. Their players, as a collective are so, so, so dislikable. The finger tickling speaks for itself; weird, unbecoming and contemptable. Some people actual defend it.

They've devalued the national stadium, to the point where selling it to an NFL franchise seemed a good idea, and then had the gall to whine about playing there. They've also been demanding the impoverished area surrounding their expensive new stadium clean up their mess. Let that sink in. They moaned at having to play at Wembley whilst ruining the honor for whatever clubs they've met. Then they've told their fans they need to clean up after them.

A ****ing cheese room.

Not only this but they're the only fans to be warned about being racist to themselves. Their owners are cash grabbers and they've won nowt.

Honestly, it's easy to dislike teams in the mega rich super club era, but spurs just work so hard at it.

Liverpool have bottled more than Spurs have over the past decade, what have Spurs actually bottled? Because they weren't close enough to us to bottle the league. The Champions League semi against Juve? FA Cup semi last season? The narrative won't change now but they've never actually been in a good enough position to choke, Whereas Liverpool have actually bottled a league title, a Europa league final and a Champions league final over the past 5 years

Spurs and Arsenal bottled it that midweek game when we drew to West Brom.We played on the Tuesday and they had the chance to overtake us. One of them was playing Swansea, the other West Ham (I forget which is which) and they both lost.

We left the door open for them and they bottled it. After that we didn't look back.

spurs don’t bottle it from winning positions very often, but for a good 5 years now every time they’ve began to believe the hype that they might be onto something, they lose almost immediately.

even this season has been the same. every sane person was aware they were never really in the title race, but suddenly at christmas they were like 6 points off top with a game in hand or something, and winning things got mentioned. and as usual, they’ve barely won a game since.

Imagine this place if Puel came out with stuff like that.

i don't know what it will take for people to realise prem clubs don't give a shit anymore.

Puel was bashed on here for playing a 'weakened' team v Newport. A team that contained SEVEN P/L winners including the back 4, all which should have been far too good for Newport.

If he'd had then come out with that Ponch comment I doubt he would have had one supporter left within our club.

Totally agree with the P/L clubs not giving a shite anymore. It's just monopoly money, with absurd transfer fees, and players earning obscene wages. Many who can't even kick with either foot, pass more than 10 yards, control a ball properly, or place a corner kick past a first man, and don't really give a rats ass about the club they play for or the fans that worship them.

Not all clubs/managers feel the same way.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47035494

Solskjaer will have to deal with egos if he wins something then...or leave the next manager to deal with the problem!

Unlike Ponch, who has no trophies, and consequently no egos at spuds! (believe that you'll believe anything!.....what about Kane claiming that 'goal' last season, no ego there eh?!!!) No wonder Walker left, he knew he was winning nothing at spuds if Ponch has that attitude. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a few leave next summer.

In my view, any manager coming out with Ponch's comment would show fans a complete lack of ambition or desire. For all his lovie media plaudits, with that one quote, Ponch has shown it could be he that is actually the reason why they are not winning things? So long may he reign!

Probably all true...but when push come to push.......

I don't know the answer,I won't profess  to know the phsyc,of the fans!!!  But

Wouldnt it be and high % of fans, that say rather consistent high positioned PL, years.....than a cup....???

Or do you live off scraps, like Wigans proudest moment....??

But not Spurs? Who are also part of the "big 6".

All the other 5 have history of winning though, Chelsea albeit a recent history but still an history of winning things, spurs are a laughing stock even among their fans

For me, I would prefer decent P/L finishes, with occasional European ventures, plus the odd decent cup runs with maybe the odd win, whilst producing some really high quality young players. Maybe other LCFC fans think we should be always in the top 6, but I like the fact we are always aiming for something to strive for, rather than just the predictable top 6 finish each year without winning anything.

For the fans of a team like Spuds, or even Liverpool, it must be torture not winning trophies. I'm amazed Kane, Alli and Eriksen haven't already realized this. Surely they must look at what Walker has achieved in a couple of seasons after leaving for Man City?

At least Liverpool are signing top players to show some intent, but Spuds just always look like a club drifting without true ambition....and long may that continue!!!

At least Liverpool have a really decent history to look back on, lots of league titles and European cup wins.

But Spuds haven't won anything for years, and have little in their history, even with their FA cup wins, to justify them being classed as 'a big top 6 club'. I very much doubt their fans are happy being a top 6 club without winning anything year in year out. Which makes Ponch's 'ego' excuse comments very puzzling, to both his fans and his players.

I reckon you have to take in,that the other top 5,including Arsenal, have hell of a lot more financial clout than Spurs!!!

Though Spurs management failed to support Potty, last summer. They still couldn't of spent, like Chelsea,L'pool,or M.city!!!

I reckon at the moment, Arsenal,Spurs,Everton have about the same spending power, with Arsenal probably being able to dig deeper!!

If we hadn't of upset the N.London -applecart,Spurs winning the title, would of also been seen as small(  only small) miracle, and the

Whitehart-lane tabloids, would of gone to town..bumming up the bow bells!!!
