Sousa 2 (Sexy football doesn't suit us, sorry Paulo. Won't forget that 6-1 away drubbing to Portsmouth in a hurry. Wrong man for the job.)

Sven 4 (Spent a fortune, but transfers were more misses than hits. Was never a dull moment though.)

Pearson 10 (Set the foundations for the fairytale, and always had the backing of the dressing room. Would have him back!)

Ranieri 9 (Carried on from where Nigel left off and the rest is history. But the more he tweaked in the following season, the worse it got. Remember the happier times Claudio, we still are.)

Shakespeare 5 (Got us out of a potentially dire situation, Nigel would have been proud. Somewhat undone by a harsh fixture list and don't think he had much of a say on our transfer policy. Was never going to be a long-term replacement though.)

Puel 4 (His time is running out, dare I say, run out. He is almost Paulo Sousa MkII, with the same problem this time around. The wrong players for the wrong system. But equally, his tactics, selections and substitutions are bizarre at best. Flew out the blocks, but a few tickers later, the system fell apart. And we are only 9th because teams around us are just as inconsistent as we are.)

Pearson did good things for us but how can you rate him higher than Ranieri lol

Makes me laugh all these 10 ratings for Pearson - Yes he did some good things and some great things and yes he had his faults including his one dimensional media personality but surely people remember the no plan B football?

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again.

Pearson laid foundations to work wonders. He’d be better in a support function at the club. Tactically he was lacking.

Absolutely spot on.

Sousa 2

Sven 6 - made some great signings and knew a good player

Pearson - 8

Ranieri 10

Shakey 4

Puel 2 - potential to be another PT which scares me

Last 2 appointments have been poor and we need to find someone who can give us back our identity and build upon it rather than destroy like CP has

Why do people judge a manager by his spend?

Money is NOT an issue for our club anymore, so we dont want to do badly in the windows... but, not because its a waste of money, just because (as shown in the past 2 years), opportunities are lost.

Sousa - 4, we played some lovely football and it was exciting to think that we were attracting "international" managers. (Obv didnt turn out that way)

Sven - 6 Some great buys, some glorious football and we had an ex england manager... oh my

Pearson - 9 Amazing job sorting and driving a team to the prem and the great escape, what a time, pity he seemed such a cvnt in the media.

Ranieri - 10, what more could he do... plus he was someone to be proud of when in the media.

Shakey - 6 He tried hard but was always going to be out of his depth

Puel - 7 Got us safe, and a top ten finish, seems like he is trying to improve the team and style... no-one else has tried that since Sven.

Sousa 1 - totally wrong for the club, don't know what Mandaric was thinking with this appointment

Sven 5 - we looked shit hot at times under Sven, but then in the end we just looked shit so a middle ranking for me

Pearson 8 - at least three of these points belong to Steve Walsh who built a great squad, but Pearson was rock solid throughout league one and the championship. I thought he was poor in the premier league and the great escape was more luck than judgement, but still overall a great manager for us.

Ranieri 10 - doesn't even need explaining, the most perfect managerial appointment of all time.

Shakespeare 6 - did what was asked in saving us from relegation and gave us that night against Sevilla, probably the greatest single game in the club's history.

Puel 5 - so far, saved us from relegation, personally don't think he's a bad manager but he needs time to build a squad and more importantly, to identify and dispose of the factors behind three successive managers having all suffered the same fate of the players downing tools for no apparent reason.

Only Pearson and Ranieri have worked out under the owners. The first was already known to the club and the latter was a gamble that worked.

I have no trust in the club getting the right man in. And every time we seem to be in a losing rut they get the boot. We can't continue like this.

Why are people including Sousa in this? The Thais arrived about a month after he did - Mandaric brought him in after he allowed Pearson to just leave. They sacked him a month later after the Portsmouth fiasco...

Anyway...

Sven 5

Clearly wanted a name, and someone to back with money. Big mistake, as he used most of that to build a squad on big money and big egos. The only good thing he did was buy Kasper.

Nigel 9

Excellent decision at the time, especially as they promised to give him time and trust. They could've easily sacked him in 12/13 after we fell from automatic promotion to out of the play-offs, but after Deeney Day they made their best ever decision IMO, which was to keep him and let him properly rebuild the behind the scenes of the club. In came the sports science and the proper implementation of Walsh's recruitment philosophy.

Claudio 10

Stroke of genius. A proper elite journeyman manager, with something to prove to the media, the world and himself. That season he got everything right. Everything. Sadly, we weren't prepared to operate as a club at that level, and allowing Kante to leave killed us. Mendy getting injured 54 minutes into his debut made everything even worse. The recruitment that season was appalling, apart from Ndidi. Claudio sadly got everything wrong and had to go.

Shakey as caretaker 9

They could have brought in someone else, but they stuck with the guy that had been here through it all and it paid off. He saved us from relegation and the Sevilla match was the best birthday I've ever had, especially being there.

Shakey as full time boss 5

There must have been better options available? He was amazing as a number 2, but as a full-time number 1 he made poor decisions and had no real plan B. The Silva Farce didn't help.

Puel 6?

I'm a "long-termist" in that, I want a manager a bit like Pearson who can be trusted over time to evolve the club. Puel's record is good with French clubs for having developed some great young players, helped with building training facilities like we are, and has generally moved his clubs forward in some way. That's what I want for us and I'm kind of willing to be patient if the odd poor form is the cost of evolving, especially if we're safe from relegation and not far from qualifying for Europe. Having said that, Saturday was intolerable and everything I've just said is put on the back burner; if they sack him now I wouldn't be too annoyed.

Their next decision is massive.

Sousa............1

failed miserably

Sven .............4

a good first attempt after taking over a team in real trouble but what was to have been his first full season showed up major defensive frailties.

Pearson........8

delivered an outstanding promotion after going close previously and kept us up, whilst his son keeping it up was his downfall.

Claudio.........9

favourite with the bookies to fail from the start, he startled the sporting world and lead the charge into the Champions league but took his eye off the ball in the Prem.......still deserves a statue.

Shakey........5

kept us up

Puel............4

the Dulux edition of our appointments, helped us stay safe in a season where half the division was in danger of relegation whilst turning the KP into slumberland
