So it's alright for Salah to swing a punch at someone

It's alright for Hegazi to ACTUALLY punch someone

It's alright for Alli to dive here there and everywhere

It's alright for Zaha to dive every other game

It's alright for Rooney to mouth off at the ref every game

But for one game a normally level headed 'honest' player is upset about a red card decision that he found unfair and he's banned? Lmao where's the ****ing consistency.

he'd be back in the championship by now (playing right wing).

Back in the championship? Care to explain when he played in it the first time.

On loan at Wigan before we signed him.

all well and good people moaning about him playing there and blaming Puel, but y'all wanted Simpson dropped, and didn't moan about Albrighton there v So'ton. Shocking recruitment that 4 (or five if you count the window we loaned de laet out in) windows have passed with only one recognised senior right back, fielding a CB/CM and winger there in times of crisis, but that's not really Puels fault.

Apparently Mike Dean reported it in his match report so the Fa have to act on it

One of, if not the most arrogant, useless refs on the planet, gets offended by a player protesting a red card, if you look at deans arrogance towards the players during the incident, forget the red card, that’s enough for me to want to smack him in the mouth.

Mike dean is living proof of the problem with a modern day ref, they want to be centre of attention, love controversy, but the best refs are the ones you hardly notice.

This forum crying out for Albrighton to be a right wing back for years.

He was actually a decent wing-back under Pearson.

Bit of difference there.

Not sure many have advocated for him being a right back in a back 4!

A wing back with 3 CB's behind him, yes!

I also don't think it was a preferred choice by anyone. Most would just want us to sign a decent bloody RB who can support the attacks better. Suggesting Albrighton as a wing back in front of a back 3, was to try something else with the squad and players we had available.

No argument here. I think he's got all the right attributes to be a decent attacking full back. Obviously lacks a bit in experience and defensive positioning but then so do Chilwell and Amartey.

It's more the fickle nature of the place that tickles me.

Puel might have to play a RB in the RB position at this rate!

Yeah, one of the many hundreds we have lying about the place that can get forward, support Riyad, overlap, get crosses in, et all.

Just what I was about to post. He made a good job of it during the great escape.

I think turning him in to a full back is a good idea, personally, I think we should be looking for better options out wide because its where a lot of our creativity comes from.

But we've experimented with him in the middle in a box to box role and also at full back and I think he's versatile enough to make either his future.

He's got a great engine, can pass, cross, works hard, defends, he's a good player for us.

But if his future is in another position, you can't start crying the first time he ****s up. He needs time to learn and the end of the season when we can neither really win or lose anything is the time to experiment, I've got no problem with that really.

We've had some dreadful square peg round hole situations over the last fifteen years so I understand people's reservations but equally this is 2018 and we've got the best team we've ever had, the idea that a player has one role and one role only is a little backwards.

id see that as more of a wing back position you just described... Not against a right back doing all that though. but he just doesnt have that natural defenders ability/ mentality. yet. I dont think hes a long term solution to the issue.. he's just getting us to the end of the season , i'm sure.

Never particularly liked the bloke. When I watched him as a kid at Villa he came across like a twat and he hasn't exactly got better with age. One of the characters Leicester could probably do with shipping off so they can usher in a new era.

never thought he had that effect on some fans. What is there not to like about him lol ?
