I think turning him in to a full back is a good idea, personally, I think we should be looking for better options out wide because its where a lot of our creativity comes from.

But we've experimented with him in the middle in a box to box role and also at full back and I think he's versatile enough to make either his future.

He's got a great engine, can pass, cross, works hard, defends, he's a good player for us.

But if his future is in another position, you can't start crying the first time he ****s up. He needs time to learn and the end of the season when we can neither really win or lose anything is the time to experiment, I've got no problem with that really.

We've had some dreadful square peg round hole situations over the last fifteen years so I understand people's reservations but equally this is 2018 and we've got the best team we've ever had, the idea that a player has one role and one role only is a little backwards.

.....so long as that player can dovetail into a role within a game that is ok. Playing someone out of position because you have failed to source a replacement whether from the U23 is somewhat short-sighted.

Not sure we can really blame a lack of right back options entirely on Puel mind. We've been totally void there for years.

Delighted.

Two less games Puel can ruin him in by jacking him all over the pitch to cover for other people.

Hopefully get some consistency back next year.

Probably fair as he did seem to throw a few choice words at Dean but it’s not like he’s a bad character, he was probably just peed off at having to play right back and be in a one on one with Zaha

He did foul him, he was the last man stopping goalscoring opportunity, he was very lairy with the ref. Deserves it really, left us right in the plop at that moment too and you could say this is what he might've done it for; early beach time.

Cresswell shoulda got a red though, there's the inconstancy

He wasn't the last man stopping a goalscoring opportunity - watch it back. His pass which he makes before pulling the attacker down was clearly making it back to Hamer.

It was silly to pull him down afterwards but it was just a standard foul, maybe a yellow for like shirt pulling at a push, but it was never a red.

Actually if you watch it, Zaha pulls Albrighton as he makes the pass. Albrighton being an honest pro tries to keep his balance as he's worried he won't get a free kick even if he goes down and Zaha might be in, and the natural thing to do is grab something. He grabs Zaha and in typical Zaha fashion he goes down. People wonder why players dive. Two players manhandle each other because one tried to stay standing he's ended up off the pitch.
