benboldy Posted 23 May 2018 Share Posted 23 May 2018 first season in a top league, can remember vards didn't exactly set the world on fire in first outings!.... from what ive seen hes a huge old unit who wins everything in the air as the stats back up, lets be honest fragility at set pieces has been a massive achilies heel for us this season, he'd dominate and win them. for the money I certainly think hes well worth a punt, £2.5m is nothing.
